Bio

I am passionate about mental health and my community. My goal is to earn my PhD in clinical psychology to become a therapist so I can help others that are from often overlooked backgrounds. Only 4% of psychologists in the USA are of color, and I hope to be part of the numbers that move that needle forward. I am a single mother to a neurodivergent 6 year old. I have suffered from anxiety and depression, and in my younger years I abused alcohol. Now I am on a spiritual journey as I know my purpose in life is much greater.
