Hello! My name is Jane Oyekan, and I am a first-generation Nigerian-American from Landover, Maryland. I am a freshman at the University of Pennsylvania, obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. One of my life goals is to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about using my life experiences to improve the lives of others through community service. A scholarship from Bold.org would help me reach my goal of graduating debt-free and remind me that others support my journey on improving the lives of those surrounding me.
