I am a graduate student aspiring to become a physician. It would be an honor to be a hero for many. My inspiration is found among heroes all throughout life, on and off the screen. In real life, I am inspired by the strength, dedication, and grace displayed by my mother and aunts who have worked as nurses for over 20 years. I consider my inclination to solve problems and lend a helping hand to others as hereditary. Being a Haitian-American woman from New York City has made me become bold and daring, whilst maintaining a certain degree of charm and emotional tact. As someone coming from an underrepresented community, I believe that representation for the people of my communities is vital to changing the injustices within the medical field and ultimately save more lives. In my free time, I enjoy a hearty laugh with my best friends as we discuss current events, pop culture, and our daily dreams and aspirations.
