I am a trans woman pursuing education, after 10+ years in the workforce, in order to make a greater impact in our environment. My workplace experience displays 5 years of experience ensuring safe drinking water provided to the general populace of my home state of New Jersey. I am a student at Seattle Central College in my second semester. I aim to pursue a bachelor's degree in environmental sciences and public health, with a goal of even further educational growth, once I acquire said degree. My long term goal is to become a larger voice in the way we handle environmental policy. There are steps we as a society can take to ensure both our environment and society are sustainable, and hospitable for our neighbors and country. Together, with the aid provided through scholarship opportunities, I will aim to become a bigger part in making a difference.
