My goals are very simple, waking up to the fresh air and sunshine, night time snuggles with my boys, and an all around balanced day. Professionally I would like to complete my MSN in education, as I will always remember my first educator on day one of my first nursing job ever. She was full of information, always available, enjoyed teaching, and was always willing to get her hands dirty but not overstep and allow me to participate along with instilling confidence that I carry with me to this day. I can only hope that I can bring the same joy to future nurses that she brought to me.
I have worked in Critical Care, Dialysis, Drug and Alcohol Rehab, Infusion Centers, and the Emergency Department. I would love to be able to create a nurse educator position that targets Boyd the emergency room and critical care as the two go hand in hand, but are also so different at the same time. I feel that this program will help me pass along my knowledge as well as gain some along the way.
