My Mother has positively impacted me by showing me how to be a lady and to become one. She taught me education always comes first and to make sure I handle my schoolwork before I go out and have fun. I always made sure to listen to my mom because I knew she wanted the best for me and to make sure I don't make the same mistakes she did. I would also say she taught me how to have manners and respect my older because they have been through more than me and they can teach me different things. I and mom sometimes fall out but she always manages to be there when I need her the most and I will always love her for that. She has taught me love and affection by simply listening to me and giving me feedback when needed just really being my #1 supporter. She always makes sure to tell me she love's me every chance she gets. And see my mother is a woman who gives a lot of love but sometimes doesn't receive it back and that's why I make sure to give her love and help out because she is a single mother with 4 kids and I am the oldest so I make sure my siblings are taken care of and they have someone to look up to which is me I teach them that education is important they are of worthy of everything. And they are amazing in their way. Foremost my mother taught me that by simply looking out for others and staying focused. So I need to pass it down and become that leader she taught me to be. On the other hand, my mother Is a very strong woman and she comes from a very traumatic childhood she has been through a lot from being a child to a young woman to a woman. So I can give it to her to not repeat that cycle and not allow her to become those people who did her wrong. And that's why today I am so strong and brave because she has taught me from the ground up to keep going and go out there and go for it. This scholarship will help me a lot in many ways because I graduate I will become successful and give back. But most importantly teach my daughter the same values and teach her the same things my mother did. Because my moment is just my mother, she is my best friend and my #1 fan.

My experience with my mental health Influenced my career In many ways such as negatively and positively. Your success in your profession may be impacted by stress and mental health. You may be working less efficiently or actively. You might stop talking to coworkers or restrict your social interactions. You start to become distant and don't want to reach out or sometimes feel not worthy of finishing school. I have struggle with mental health since I was a kid. I was diagnosed with depression and ADHD so having these disorders was really hard sometimes and the medication didn't make it any better. Because sometimes I felt stuck or like a zombie, I was lost most of the time because of the medication that was given to me. It made me sick most of the time because I didn't eat like I was supposed to but sometimes I didn't feel like eating because of the feeling I will get being on the medication. So on the other hand when you are in a constant battle with yourself you bing to lose hope and not get the job done. So one day I decided to stop allowing my mental health to define me and make me fall behind in my classes and my education period. So I began to take therapy sessions and open up about these thoughts that I am feeling and experiencing. So my heart gave me some copying ideas such as writing out my thoughts, meditation, and being around people who want the best for me and make me happy. So I began doing these different types of coping mechanisms. And from their things started to feel good again I learn to fight those negative thoughts that were taking a toll on me and fight back because I knew I wanted more out of my life and to be something in life. And to accomplish my goal as a college student. And that's what students need to understand if you want something to happen in your life you have to go out there and get and because nobody is going to care about your dream the way you do I promise you. You have to go out to the deep in and swim and swim until you get to the end of the water and everything will work out the way you want it to because you went out there and gave it your all and fight for it.
