I have faced my equitable share of challenges and setbacks. My current/biggest challenges and setbacks are finishing college and finding another job. My challenge with college is finances. I have been industrious with my education in college so I can obtain my bachelors degree and my academics were great however one major set back I’m currently experiencing for the very first time is debt. I have been actively searching for ways to obtain financial support in order to clear my debt and proceed with my education however I have not found financial support to help with my education as of right now which brings me to my next challenge, finding another job. Since I’ve currently been unable to find any financial support to help clear my debt, my next plan was finding another job to help alleviate my debt and I haven’t found another job yet because positions I’ve been applying for were already filled so as of right now I am stuck in a bad place. These challenges and setbacks have affected me mentally because I desire to accomplish astonishing things in life and I believe that obtaining a college degree would be a huge stepping stone for achieving my goals and aspirations and the fact that I’m currently unemployed and in debt without having anyway to pay it off hurts me mentally. However, despite how these setbacks make me feel mentally, I’m still perseverant and I haven’t given up on completing college and earning my degree. I found a way to turn it up to 11 by actively finding great platforms that can support me financially, platforms that I never knew existed, which is bold.org. Finding bold.org was a great way to turn it up to 11 because it’s the best way to support me financially and has substantially helped students like me with college. As far as my employment situation I turned that up to 11 by finding a job that has astonishing pay and would definitely consider employing me, now the only issue with that is the position I can potentially be employed for has been filled and while I was a applying for that position they offered me a condition job offer which was a great step in the right direction. I now have ways to overcome these challenges however it will take some time for things to go through and I’m doing everything on my behalf to overcome these obstacles and setbacks so I can clear my debt and return to college to complete a higher education and obtain a college degree, and also find another job because in general, I need another job not just for clearing my debt.what I learned from these experiences is that it is okay to ask for help and support and that we are not alone when dealing with situations like these. I’ve learned that there are people who genuinely desire what’s best for me and are willing to support me in any way I need.i believe that I would participate in a mentorship program with inspire11 because the program could benefit me in life altogether by helping me become the absolute greatest version of myself. By becoming the absolute greatest version of myself, I would always be willing to turn it up to 11 with anything major I desire to do in life. Despite all the adversities I’m facing, I can still make something of myself and make positive alterations in my life and other peoples lives as well because there is nothing that I can’t overcome and overcoming these challenges will definitely help me ameliorate mentally.
