Bio

I was born in Alaska and moved to rural Oregon when I was three. My family is very active in outdoor recreation and travel, and that has influenced me greatly in my scope of experience and interests. I am the fifth generation of my family to live on our property, and my parents have constructed our home themselves. Growing up around construction has fascinated me with the possibilities of turning dreams on paper into reality. The field of architecture feels like the perfect fit. I love that it provides opportunities to engage socially, technologically and creatively within each project. As we move through the 21st century, I am excited to be on the forefront of advancements in environmentally sustainable and resilient buildings. Jake Green
