I graduated with a degree in Finance from Sonoma State University in the Summer of 2019 and immediately went into the workforce. I thought I would remain in finance for my entire career, slowly clawing my way up the corporate ladder until I eventually reached CFO. After three years, I can say with certainty that this is not the path I plan on traveling. I've always wanted to be on the bleeding edge of technological development, and the realm of finance is too far removed from the technological advancements I want to be a part of. Instead, I'm returning to school to earn a degree in electrical engineering with the hope of contributing to the next generation of electronics and energy systems.
