Annese Family Trade School Scholarship
Dear Annese Family Scholarship
My name is Jake Barrett I'm applying for this scholarship to help me purchase the needed tools and materials for attending White Mountain Community College for advanced welding. I have always enjoyed welding. I enjoy working with my hands tremendously and have since I was a child. Before attending White Mountain Community College I was in automotive technology at the highschool at Concord Regional Technical Center (CTRC) . While attending CRTC I learned to work in barious vehicles and engines. Throughout me high school career I was in boy scouts, while in boy scouts I was an assistant patrol leader and then advanced to patrol leader. My junior year I completed my Eagle Scout rank whi h not manybpeople follow throught to receive this acchievement. I have always been a hard worker, good at working with others , and having a good attitude.
I have always been fascinated by how things are built and held together. Watching my father repair old machinery in our garage sparked my interest in welding, a skill that combines creativity with precision. I am eager to continue developing my skills through formal training. Receiving this scholarship would be a crucial step in helping me achieve my goal of becoming a certified welder.
Welding is more than just a trade to me; it is a passion that challenges me to solve problems and create strong, lasting connections between materials. I am particularly interested in learning advanced welding techniques and safety practices to ensure quality work in various industries. By focusing on my education and hands-on training, I plan to contribute to the growth of my community through skilled craftsmanship and reliable work.
This scholarship would not only ease the financial burden of my education but also motivate me to excel in my studies and practical training. With the support of this scholarship, I will be able to focus fully on mastering welding skills and preparing for a successful career. I am committed to working hard, learning continuously, and becoming the best I can be.
When I'm out in the garage welding I am relaxed and have a lot of love for the trade and after attending White Mountain Community College I plan on traveling and working for the Millwrights Local 1121. While I am working for the Millwright Local 1121 I'll have the opportunity to travel and explore all around the United States using my skills in welding
Thank you for considering your time and consideration
Jake Barrett
