Bio

I am a full-stack developer with over 3 years of experience building scalable web systems and integrating intelligent features into high-traffic platforms like Cenomi Centers and U by Emaar. With a 9.30 CGPA in Information Technology and top ranking in my class, I bring both academic strength and real-world expertise. My work spans backend architecture, API design, and AI-driven enhancements, including a research paper (under review) on software defect prediction using deep multi-branch learning and explainable AI techniques like SHAP and Grad-CAM. Beyond technical growth, I actively nurture creativity and discipline. I’m a certified Kathak dancer, trained over several years, and have participated in diverse extracurriculars including hackathons, walkathons, photography, and community outreach. These experiences have helped me develop a well-rounded perspective, leadership, and resilience. As a woman in tech, I value representation, mentorship, and inclusion. I aspire to become a systems architect driving impactful, ethical, and accessible technologies. Through a master’s program, I aim to deepen my expertise in intelligent infrastructure and human-centered design to contribute meaningfully to India’s growing product landscape and inspire more women to pursue technology with confidence.

    Elevate Women in Technology Scholarship
One technology that truly inspires me is explainable artificial intelligence (XAI)—the idea that machines should not only make decisions but also help us understand why they make them. In a time when AI influences everything from hiring to healthcare, transparency and fairness are more important than ever. During my academic and professional journey, I’ve had the chance to work on intelligent systems—like a deep learning model for software defect prediction, where I used Grad-CAM and SHAP to explain results. That project helped me realize how powerful AI can be, but also how confusing and opaque it often feels to the people who are affected by it. XAI stands out because it focuses on clarity and accountability—values I strongly believe should be part of every system we build. Technology is often seen as neutral, but in reality, it reflects the people who design it. As a woman in tech, I’ve often been one of the few in the room. I think that’s part of why I care so much about designing systems that are not just functional, but also fair and inclusive. When diverse voices help shape technology, the solutions become more thoughtful, ethical, and impactful. XAI, to me, is a reminder that users deserve to be part of the conversation—not just passive recipients of a machine’s decision. I want to work on systems that empower people, whether that means helping someone understand their medical diagnosis, or a small business owner navigating a loan application. Making technology transparent helps build trust—and that trust can open doors for people who are often left out. Outside of tech, I’ve trained in classical Kathak for over a decade, which has taught me discipline, patience, and the importance of rhythm—in dance and in life. I bring that same mindset to my work in tech. I believe real impact happens when creativity, empathy, and engineering come together. XAI isn’t just an exciting research area for me—it’s a way to build systems that genuinely make people’s lives better. That’s the kind of work I want to do, and the kind of future I want to help create.
