    Bold Passion Scholarship
When I moved to Oklahoma from Jamaica, was when my passion for film/cinema became a reality. Many resources became available to me that were unavailable in Jamaica. These resources provided me with many more opportunities to practice videography, film, and editing. I came here from Jamaica with my family to pursue a better education and with the hope that there would be many more opportunities for jobs, and overall better quality of life. After moving to Oklahoma I began traveling to the racetrack with my brother. There I started my journey of recording videos for him and other bikers as they rode and competed in races down the track. The next day I would sit down and edit all my videos and post them on my personal social media account, or share them with my brother and friends. Whenever I record and edit videos, my mind takes me to a space of imagination, blocking out all noise and distractions around me. It is one of the finest feelings to be felt. I love doing what I do, for the reason that it makes me very ecstatic whenever I get to see the full results of my imagination in a video or photo. Editing a video that is as long as ten minutes, can normally take up to three hours to be completed. Even though three hours might sound long, having a passion and love for something you do, you would be surprised how fast time flies. As a videographer and editor, there are always so many new things to learn. I always tend to try and go outside of my comfort zone to make my current video better than the first. I am very eager to mold my passion for filmmaking.
    Bold Driven Scholarship
I grew up in an environment where not many opportunities were available. My Dad, a single parent, had struggled to make ends meet for my siblings and I to eat and be comfortable. This is one of the reasons I always pushed myself to do better. As I got older, I want to be able to take care of myself and my family. My biggest dream is to work in the film industry as a director, videographer, editor, actor, or producer, I love to do it all. For as long as I can commemorate, I have always been fascinated by how films are made. From the technique and skills it requires, to how it brings forth emotions to their designated audience. I have recently applied to a college in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Film and Media Studies, to help better and improve the skills necessary to achieve this dream. Which will lead to an opportunity of working with a great company in the incoming future. In conclusion, my goals for the future are to support my family and their needs and become one of the greatest filmmakers. I want to be able to bring forth something new to the film industry that would gravitate to all audiences watching, making them feel like they are physically experiencing what they are watching.

    Bold Reflection Scholarship
In a synopsis of my upbringing, I lost my mom to gun violence, thus leaving my father in a set position to tend to three children. My dad moved to the united states to help create a better life for his children. A couple of years later, he was capable enough to allow his kids to have the same opportunity he did when he moved to the united states. Having a proud father has always been one of the most imperative things in my life, trying to go above the expectations of what he had designed for me as a son. Over time my fascination with the film industry evolved from mere interest to a raw passion that needs molding. Throughout my high school years, I participated in activities that could better my skill in this field. During my senior year of high school, I had finally decided to attend college with a purpose. To pursue my dream of being a filmmaker. In the future, I hope to work for an amazing company to broaden my work and support my family's needs.
