Jaelen Barrett is a rising senior Psychology student at Howard University. During his enrollment, Jaelen has been awarded Dean's List for the 2021-2022,22-23, and 23-24 school years. Jaelen is also a HEAR Foundation Scholar, a TMCF Ford Blue Oval Scholar, and a Better Brother Los Angeles Scholarship recipient.
Jaelen is also heavily involved in his community, as he has worked alongside many community outreach programs such as Special Olympics for over six years. While at Howard, he has also volunteered with the Howard University Alternative Spring Break Program to help underserved communities in Detroit. Jaelen is also a dedicated member of The Collegiate 100 of Howard University and serves as the Communications Chair for the 2024-25 academic year.
Jaelen is pursuing a B.S. in Psychology in hopes of making mental health resources more accessible for underrepresented Black individuals.
