My name is Jacqueline Rodriguez and I'm 17. I was born in Corpus Christi and raised in Gregory-Portland. In school I live an ordinary student life. I'm in the women's club which helps support women's in all type problems. I'm also in the Hosa club which helps you grow in your medical career. I enjoy watching soccer as well as having a fun time with my family. My family is always so cheerful and always gives us a reason to do things in life. They inspire you to be more than what you already are. My parents are my inspiration because they do everything for us and gives us things we want. I also enjoy playing with my sister's dog Milo and enjoy dancing. Shopping is my comfort zone it helps me vent my feelings. I love going to different restaurants and trying different foods to see a change in my taste buds. Growing up in Corpus has a different way of viewing things. There is a lot of construction, and refineries around the Corpus area. I like to try different things and love to make plans and travel the world. I always dreamed of becoming a doctor, but not anymore. I now want to become a pilot and be a mechanical engineer. I'm Hispanic and I enjoy having the time of my life. I enjoy going to Reynosa for the elotes and all the different candy and goods. I plan to make a positive impact by helping those Mexican Americans to provide for their family and to encourage them to study and to become someone in the future. As a mechanical engineer or a pilot, I want my people to be encouraged so they can do everything they want. So that they can always have someone's support, and they will have my support as well. Many people would try to bring you down, but don't think about it. I want to inspire teens to not give up to enjoy every single bit of their life. Once they are in the future try to fulfill their goals. As my mom said friends don't exist you will meet them once you are at work in your career. Once you need a favor or once you need help or they need help those are who you call friends. Those who respect you to the fullest and don't try to bring you down with them. Those are real friends who support you to the fullest.
