Brady Cobin Law Group "Expect the Unexpected" Scholarship
Legacy is more about sharing what you have learned, not just what you have earned. Most people think of a legacy as something of monetary value left behind after someone has passed. I like to think of a legacy as a lasting impression.
I have been exposed to some extraordinary teachers and coaches throughout my years of school and in playing baseball. The passion exuded by my favorite teachers and coaches was palpable, they were able to spark and fuel a desire to learn and succeed. I have been motivated, inspired, and challenged by each. Their powerful legacies and passion for what they do have driven my desire to teach and coach. I would love the opportunity to leave a similar lasting impression on future students.
It is my goal to become a high school English teacher after I earn my degree and teaching credential. Ideally, if I could coach the high school baseball team too, that would complete my dream job. Teaching/coaching the next generation will allow me to mentor and nurture students; helping them find their passions and encouraging them to succeed. This scholarship will help me reach my goals and leave my legacy in my community.

Over six thousand feet down into a canyon, on a very narrow path, riding on a mule. That is bold! The first steps the mule took into the canyon were eye-opening and highlighted the sheer magnitude of the Grand Canyon. Truly a memorable adventure and a bold moment in my life.
