I quickly realized that I had a natural strength of diagnosing and fixing mechanical problems, which ignited my interest in the mechanical field. Throughout high school, I have looked for every opportunity to develop my skills and knowledge in mechanics. I’ve taken mechanics classes, worked in my own small business, at a Scag mower dealership, as a mechanic for Smith and Potter Equipment, and have helped many with repair projects. These experiences have deepened my commitment to a career in the mechanical trades and to further my education. I am excited to learn the advanced techniques required to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and vehicles. I believe that the growing demand for skilled professionals in this area provides great opportunities, and I am motivated to contribute to the automotive industry. Automotive technology is an area where I feel that I excel. The automotive industry is rapidly evolving with new technologies such as electric vehicles and advanced diagnostic systems. I am particularly drawn to this constant innovation, and I am determined to stay ahead of the curve by mastering the skills necessary to work on both traditional combustion engines and emerging technologies. My passion for cars has driven me to work on my own vehicle and many others, gaining hands-on experience with engine repairs, electrical systems, and diagnostics.
