As a first-generation student from a refugee background, I know that scholarships are the key to turning educational dreams into academic achievement. I will pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science and am interested in researching the societal effects and biases of artificial intelligence.
I will participate in the Archer Fellowship and intern in Washington, D.C., next Spring to advise policymakers on artificial intelligence. I seek scholarships to help fund this opportunity.
