I am a freshman Theatre Performance BFA major at the University at Buffalo. I am also a big advocate for the LGBTQ+ community on campus as I am a part of it. I am currently putting together a campaign to create more gender-inclusive housing on campus which would allow members of my community to live together, no matter the legal sex, making a safer living space and campus. I have had my fair share of mental health challenges. I am diagnosed with major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, and bipolar depression. These have made life and school very challenging but with a combination of therapy and medication I have been able to overcome my mental illness.
