My name is Jacey Tweedy and I am currently a Senior at Sanger high school and will graduate this June. My high school years have been focused on academic success and a deep commitment to the agriculture industry. In the fall of 2025, I plan to attend East Texas A&M University, where I will major in Agricultural Business and later pursue an MBA. My goal is to become an agricultural appraiser at Fresno Madera Farm Credit. I have worked hard to build a strong foundation that will help me achieve success in my career. One of my proudest accomplishments is earning an Associate of Science degree in Plant Science from Reedley College while still in high school through the POM Wonderful pathway at Sanger High School. This program has provided me with valuable hands on knowledge that will be essential for my future career. I am also proud to have maintained a 4.5 GPA throughout my high school and college courses. Outside of academics, I have been very involved in extracurricular activities. I am a member of the California High School Rodeo Association (CHSRA) District 6, where I have served as both Student President and Secretary. I have also been active in Sanger FFA chapter, where I served as Chapter Treasurer and held other leadership roles, including Greenhand President. I have received several awards, such as the 2022 CHSRA Challenge of Champions Champion Breakaway/Rookie Cowgirl, District 6 All-Around Cowgirl, Sanger FFA Outstanding Junior award, State FFA degree, and Equine Proficiency Award. I have also showed sheep at the Fresno fair through 4H and Sanger FFA.
