I am a proud first-generation Hispanic student studying mechanical engineering and chemistry at the University of South Carolina Aiken. My goal as a soon-to-be engineer/scientist is to use my knowledge to help generate clean energy as well as develop the environmentally safe technologies necessary to keep our planet healthy. Having seen the efforts my parents have made to provide me with a better life, I want to make sure that future generations can also enjoy the pleasure of living in a cleaner, safer environment.
