11. My name is Isabel Garcia Lule. I am a fourth year in college at Long Beach State University majoring in Criminology. Being a daughter of immigrants, I have struggled heavily alongside my family. I dream of becoming an immigration attorney knowing I can empathize well with others. However, it is a very costly academic career and I absolutely don't want to burden my parents with my personal dreams. 1. I was initially an ARMY since 2017 but discovered TXT pre-debut through BigHit's promotion. I was present on March 4th, 2019 when the CROWN music video dropped. However, I went through a period where I would get embarrassed mentioning liking K-pop due to teasing. I took a break and disconnected myself from K-pop but was lucky enough to have found TXT again during COVID. 2. I have made many MOA friends through social media, concerts, and meeting them in person! A commonality we all share that I have noticed is that we all have love for any individual with no conditions. We are such a beautiful fandom filled with so much hope and with a youthful spirit powered by TXT. 3/4. My bias in TXT is Yeonjun and he is also my K-pop ult! I admire his confidence the most but also relate with him a lot. Being the 4th Gen It Boy due to always ranking number one during his trainee days, I also always strive to be the best. We are both very determined, and we exert an over-the-top effort towards something we want. 5. TXT's entire discography is very well executed. Having studied music for eight years, their vocals and composition are unbeatable. Their music is excessively diverse, having a song for any emotional state. This makes it extremely difficult to pick a favorite song. I really like Higher Than Heaven, Run Away, Deja Vu, and 0X1=LOVESONG. If I had to pick just one it would be 0X1=LOVESONG because it felt like a personal message from TXT to me. 6. I am so grateful to have finally been able to see TXT in concert on September 9th, 2025 in San Jose. I didn't want to experience this concert alone, so I brought my mom along with me. Knowing she didn't get to enjoy much of her childhood makes me want her to enjoy all these opportunities with me. It is the least I can do to repay her sacrifice, even if it will never compare to what she has done for my siblings and I. She even biases Taehyun now! 7. My favorite album concept would be The Chaos Chapter: Freeze World version. Specifically the significance behind the era. I started to get back into K-pop during COVID and this comeback was scheduled just in time. Every song on the album is one of my top all-time favorites from TXT. However, OX1=LOVESONG is one of the most beautifully composed songs ever. This concept felt so intimate, especially as a returning MOA. 8. Being from a low-income family has taught me to budget exceptionally well. I organize myself by calculating how much of my tuition my California grant will cover. Then I estimate how much money I need as well as deadlines for other educational dues. I work two jobs over the summer to save up and cover these expenses. 9. This scholarship would help me cover my other upcoming educational charges, such as parking permits, rent, and books. Covering these other charges would help me feel not so pressured by time to make money for personal expenses such as gas and food. If I were to earn this scholarship, I could use the money I am currently saving up towards my personal expenses instead. 10. I have grown up alongside TXT and have learned to feel secure with my own identity while not letting anyone extinguish my youthful flame. I have been able to rely on TXT and come back to them even after my break from K-pop. Despite wanting to reject my attraction to K-pop TXT stayed and was there to catch me when I fell back even harder, but this time I have no shame nor filter.
