I have many interests but my two greatest passions are art and science. As an artist at heart I have been very active in the arts my whole life. Drawing and creating things for myself and for school projects whenever possible. I have been a member of the National Art Honor Society since sophomore year and have been an officer, the Workshop Coordinator, for junior and senior year. I also participate in theater, building sets and making props for plays and musicals as well as contribute content and help produce our school arts publication “Northern Lights.” Outside of school, I actively submit to exhibitions and love visiting galleries and museums. I enjoy going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends, being active and in the present. I also love learning and am looking forward to college, to explore new subjects and gain access to resources for the pursuit of knowledge; an education and career that will ultimately help others. My career goal is to become a Forensic Artist and contribute to emerging technologies such as age progression, and facial recognition to identify missing persons and assist in solving crimes. Studying forensic anthropology and medical sciences, and applying my skill as an artist can help others by bringing justice to victims and closure for families who have run out of resources to find their loved ones.
