I'm a first-generation Nigerian-American woman who is a medical student at UCSF. I am the co-host of Woke WOC Docs, a podcast about the lives of womxn of color in medicine including their unique experiences, viewpoints, and struggles in medical education, research, and practice. I am interested in health disparities research, neurology research, and podcasting. I also enjoy dancing, singing, running and reading!

  The central goals of Woke WOC Docs are to: 1) Speak truth to power about diverse personal journeys and narratives of womxn of color in medicine, particularly in how one's identity as a womxn of color has influenced their journey and experiences into and through medicine, 2) Discuss critical issues in medicine, healthcare, and health justice that womxn of color are addressing or facing, 3) Inspire listeners on resources, strategies, actions, and efforts that can further promote health justice for underserved communities and/or elevate the experiences of womxn of color in medicine and healthcare
