I started as a kid, not really into volunteer work, but since coming to Sandy Creek Christian, and being more involved with the church. I have found volunteer work very pleasing. It helps me connect to people more easily and allows me to help more effectively. I currently help by helping my teacher with the maintenance around the school and helping with our school's Jr. chapel services. I help my teacher by weed-eating around the school, helping set up for there wensday church classes, and helping clean out the grease traps in the kitchen. But those are just parts of what I help him with. I would use this scholarship to help me go to Lincoln Tech so I can help truckers and others with their vehicle problems in the future. This would also help me not be in so much debt.
