Finally getting back into schooling after a longer than intended break. I will be a first generation college graduate, moreover, continue my pursuit into the world of psychology. Time and time again I have found that this major plays all too important roles in a day to day for myself, and obtaining a doctorate will only help me achieve my goal for assisting others with emotional turmoil. I aim to be a school psychologist with hopes that children will be able to express their emotions in ways that can be understood. All too often from previous occupations the one gripe I heard from students was nobody really listened to how they felt. It is with this one ideal in mind that I continue to pursue my education, so the next time I am on school grounds, that sentence will change for the better.
