The last three years of my life have definitely provided me with an array of events that have presented themselves as not only memorable but quite challenging as a whole. I never imagined being subjected to a situation in which my entire lifestyle would be uprooted causing not only myself but the entire world to have to solely depend upon technology and online resources and career focused sites such as Forbes.com, Linkedin and Career Builder to allow entrance into the gateway of employment. As an African American male millennial preparing to one day enter the working world as an entrepreneur with the determination to not only talk about but make a change, career focused sites such as career builder have opened the doors to me virtually to have the opportunity to explore what the job industry has to offer from the comfort of my very own home. While many may see this as being an inconvenience, I see it as being an opportunity because it provided me with the ability to explore and apply to several companies with an interdisciplinary approach because it allowed me the flexibility to focus on my career interest of choice while also tapping into other careers opportunities through online seminars and internships that provided one on one communication with the actual employers. A career - focused site is one that in my opinion allows students such as myself the opportunity to through career centered program the opportunity to prepare for their career path by eventually assisting us in narrowing our interest down to one particular field, Career-focused sites provided me with an upper advantage to those who may not yet have discovered the benefits of these programs because of the innovative instruction, direction and hands on training opportunities that have assisted me with job opportunity connections to prepare me for my future career. Career focused sites have provided me not only the opportunity to connect globally with an array of employers, but it has also given me the opportunity to build and show off my unique brand with values and accomplishments from both my past and future while engaging with them virtually to continuously remain under the radar to assure that my interest captures the attention of potential recruiters. In conclusion career -focused sites have been beneficial to me because with the hustle and challenges that have accompanied me with the covid-19 pandemic they have eliminated the stress of searching for careers by allowing me with the opportunity that rather than focusing my opportunity and time on sending out massive resumes to companies that I do not qualify for by matching me with careers that actually match both my career interest and qualifications while also helping me identify and share my goals with potential employers by providing an image of the assets that I will offer without having to deal with the competition of a larger group of applicants which will decrease the stress and anxiety of the competition which if these sites were not available would distract me from taking the initiative to apply for my dream position.
