I am a member of the Class of 2026 who is deeply committed to growth, leadership, and service. Family, education, and faith are the foundation of my life, shaping my character and guiding the decisions I make both academically and personally. These values have motivated me to challenge myself in the classroom, on the field, and within my community as I work toward building a future centered on purpose and positive impact. Academically, I have maintained a strong work ethic while balancing rigorous coursework and extracurricular commitments. As a captain of both my baseball and football teams, I have learned what it means to lead through example. Leadership, to me, is not about recognition or authority, but about consistency, accountability, and supporting others. Being entrusted with these roles by my teammates taught me the importance of communication, respect, and resilience, especially during moments of adversity. Outside of athletics, I am passionate about serving and mentoring others. I have volunteered with multiple organizations and spent time coaching and mentoring youth athletes through sports camps and by umpiring for local leagues. These experiences have shown me how influential positive role models can be, especially for young people who are still discovering their confidence and potential. Working with youth has strengthened my desire to pursue a career that allows me to guide, support, and create opportunities for others to succeed. Looking ahead, I plan to make a positive impact on the world through a career that combines problem-solving, innovation, and service. I am especially interested in fields that allow me to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to real-world challenges. Whether in a STEM-related profession or another problem-solving field, my goal is to contribute to solutions that improve lives, increase accessibility, and promote equity within communities. I want to use my education not only to advance my own future, but also to uplift others and create meaningful change. I believe that positive impact does not always come from grand achievements, but from consistent effort, integrity, and a willingness to help where it is needed most. In my future career, I hope to be someone who listens, collaborates, and leads with empathy. I want to be known as a professional who values people as much as results and who understands that success is measured by the good we do for others. Ultimately, I envision a future where my education, leadership experiences, and commitment to service come together to make a lasting difference. By staying grounded in my values and continuously striving to grow, I hope to build a career that not only challenges me intellectually but also allows me to contribute positively to the world around me.

What interests me most about STEM is the powerful relationship between math and science, and how they work together to explain the world around us. From an early age, I have been drawn to numbers, patterns, and logical reasoning. Math has always felt natural to me because it provides structure and consistency, while still allowing room for creativity in problem-solving. I enjoy the challenge of working through complex equations and concepts, knowing that persistence and critical thinking will eventually lead to a solution. Through math, I have developed patience, discipline, and confidence in my ability to tackle difficult problems. Science builds upon this foundation by giving purpose to mathematical concepts. It transforms numbers on a page into explanations for how systems operate, why processes occur, and how ideas can be tested and improved. I am especially interested in how scientific principles are used to analyze real-world problems and create practical solutions. Whether studying physical forces, data patterns, or natural systems, science allows me to connect logic with discovery. This combination of math and science excites me because it encourages both analytical thinking and curiosity. What excites me most about STEM is its constant evolution. There is always something new to learn, whether through technological advances, scientific discoveries, or innovative problem-solving approaches. STEM challenges me to think deeply, ask meaningful questions, and seek understanding rather than memorization. It pushes me beyond surface-level learning and encourages exploration, creativity, and growth. My passion for math and science also influences how I approach challenges outside the classroom. As a student-athlete and team captain, I rely on strategic thinking, data analysis, and discipline—skills that directly reflect STEM principles. I analyze performance, adjust strategies, and work collaboratively to achieve goals, much like solving complex scientific problems. These experiences have reinforced my belief that STEM skills are valuable in every aspect of life. Ultimately, STEM represents opportunity, innovation, and impact. It offers a pathway to contribute meaningful solutions to real-world challenges while continuing to learn and grow intellectually. My love for math and the sciences has shaped who I am as a student and problem solver, and I am eager to pursue STEM studies in higher education as I work toward a future dedicated to discovery, innovation, and positive change. My love for math and the sciences has shaped the way I approach challenges both academically and personally. STEM represents opportunity, innovation, and impact, and I am eager to continue exploring it as I pursue higher education and a future dedicated to learning, problem-solving, and meaningful contribution.
