Hello! My name is Isabella, and I currently attend Drexel University in Philadelphia until 2028. Marketing was my previous major, though, I recently changed to go into Business Analytics with an economics minor. My decision was based upon my drive to learn more and an interest in data. Though taking on--arguably--more coursework, I can focus on my goal in life and continue forward. I believe in myself to accomplish great things. I find myself on Bold.org as a first-generation college student from a low-income single-parent family. My mother came from Mexico to the U.S. and have worked incredibly hard; I do everything I can to help, knowing about the sacrifices and why I am here. By doing my own research and writing, I believe scholarships are what can help me to pursue my dreams without financial strain. Additionally, one thing that defines me is my love for music. My playlist is like a passport stamped with every genre imaginable, thanks to the different sounds and styles I’ve been exposed to over the years. Whether it is in English, Spanish, French, or other languages, I always keep an open ear and mind. In short, I am all about learning, growing, and connecting—whether through new experiences, new people, or just a good song! :)
