I am a Bachelor of Social Work student at Arizona State University with minors in Community Health and Early Childhood Education. My passion is improving the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and families by addressing both individual needs and the systems that shape their lives.
Throughout college, I have sought opportunities to turn my passion into action. As a Devils 4 Devils Peer Leader with ASU Counseling Services, I promote mental health awareness, facilitate wellness programming, and help create a supportive campus community. I have also worked with middle school students as a student teacher for 6th-grade science classrooms, supporting diverse learners and strengthening my commitment to youth development.
My long-term goal is to earn my Master of Social Work, become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), complete a Master of Public Health (MPH), and ultimately lead pediatric and youth-focused programs that integrate mental health, education, and public health. I believe that every child deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based support regardless of their background or circumstances.
Beyond academics, I enjoy community service, research, photography, music, flute/piccolo, scrapbooking, and creative projects that allow me to connect with others. I am especially interested in preventing mental health crises through early intervention, strengthening families, and building healthier communities.
