Bio

Hi! I am Isabella, I am a first generation Mexican American looking to pursue a higher education. I am someone who is passionate about instilling change in my community while creating a voice for those who are unheard. I am devoted to working with the backbone of our society’s system in order to provide individuals with a broader range of accessibilities. I am also part of Student Activists, his club has aided in empowering the voice of the students on campus. We take race, gender and other inequity issues to the school board, local government and spread awareness on social media to create an inclusive and diverse environment. Student Activists have allowed me to share my passion with others who long for societal reform, I have empowered my voice and become part of a community who values social advocacy and local protests. I have recently been awarded a Young Woman Achievement Award for my school and I am currently employed at a Law office where I assist with expungements, allowing a second chance at a fulfilling life because not everyone is gonna get “life” right the first time. As I continue managing hardship fee reductions in order to make justice attainable for the underprivileged, I am one step closer to cultivating a healthy framework for poverty reduction in my community. With over 600 hours of community service, I aspire to continue fighting for my community, and expand my impact as I continue my non profit endeavors at university!
