I am currently a Senior Accounting Major a part of the SMU’s class of 2025. I started my academic career at SMU as a member of the University Honors Program, a recipient of the Provost Scholarship, and a direct admit to the Cox School of Business. My passion for accounting started after taking Intro to Financial Accounting, where I realized my aptitude in mathematics and financial analysis. While continuing to advance my knowledge of accounting practices in class, I also developed additional soft and technical skills through serving my Sorority chapter as the VP of Finance. In this role, I collaborated with fellow student leaders to establish and implement processes for budgeting, dues, expenses, and forecasting. I look forward to bringing these skills and additional experiences featured throughout my profile to an accounting firm in the future. My other professional interests include advertising and marketing, and data analytics. I plan to one day start my own marketing company that deals heavily in data analysis.
