First, I would like to say thank you to the scholarship donors for giving students like me the chance to study at post-secondary and higher education schools. As people, we have many life goals, and this is no exception for me. One of my life goals is honestly having the ability to work at a job that I enjoy. I think for many people, they are discontent with where they are. So being able to enjoy life, delight in the work I do will feel rewarding for all the work I will put in during my time at college/university. And receiving these scholarships will not only help me achieve this goal of mine but securing the capability to continue to work and learn at a great university like TCU (the one I'm currently attending to). Moreover, I think that I have many attributes pertaining to an outstanding scholarship candidate. Hard-working, caring, a leader (in fact I'm in a special leadership program at my university called Leaders for Life), etc. are all qualities that my teachers and peers have described me as. But most importantly, by being raised in America by an immigrant family I think I have a unique perspective on life. It allows me to see "both sides of the story" and gives me the capability to understand the struggles and hopes of other people. Allowing me to be a sort of mediator in conversation with other people. Thanks once again for reading my profile!
