Book Lovers Scholarship
To whom it may concern,
Hello, my name is Immanuel Guardado and I am an avid book reader. At the moment I am reading "1984", "The Screwtape Letters", and "Fahrenheit 451"; however, none of these is the choice I have in mind.
If I could have everyone in the world read just 1 book it would undoubtedly be the Gospel of John (in their native language). I believe this to be one of the 66 most important books throughout all of civilization. As Christianity is the world's most popular religion it is 100% worth it to see 'what all the buzz is about' so to say.
I am not saying that everyone in the world must become a Christian, but rather everyone in the world should be presented with the opportunity to accept the love of God which is exquisitely packaged within the Gospel of John. John 3:16 for example "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
As someone with the end goal to become a pastor, I truly believe that this is what needs to be done. When I have a stable job in the future I will be making efforts to donate to charities that have the mission to translate the Word of God into every single language, and that perfectly aligns with the prompt of this scholarship opportunity. Thank you for considering me and taking the time to read this application.
Respectfully, Immanuel Guardado
Walking In Authority International Ministry Scholarship
To whom it may concern,
Hello, My name is Immanuel Guardado, I am currently a Senior in high school who is pursuing a Bachelor's in Theological Studies in the Fall of 2023. It is truly an honor to have you read my essay. Thank you for considering me and taking the time to read it!
My passion to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has been the key contributor to my wanting to change my community. As it says in Proverbs 21:1. We know that only God has the power to change the heart of men. We can only bring them water, but it is up to the man to drink." With that verse being quoted, it is clear that the only way for true change to commence in a community must be with the Gospel of Christ.
Through much prayer, The LORD has put in my heart that I am to become a pastor. I gave up many Computer Science opportunities that paid big scholarship money in order to go to a small Christian College, which will fully prepare me for when I go to seminary.
I have consistently been involved in my local church. I currently serve in the children's ministry, with the 5th and 6th graders during Sunday school. I also involve myself in the youth group and stay a faithful witness to Christ. Among these two things also includes me serving in as many charity events as is possible for me to attend (in my church).
My strive to change my community through Christ has reached my school also. Yes, I go to a Christian high school; however, this does not mean that it is exempt from needs in a change of culture. I have done my utmost to promote a biblically sound way of living, and constantly encourage my classmates to both pray and read the Bible every single day. My influence has been substantial, as am a Student Council member, a Student Ambassador, a member of The National Honor Society, as well as a leading actor in the school play that just passed. This has led to my voice being heard by the majority of my peers and not simply ignored.
Another facet of life that directly impacts culture is home life. My parents have done an amazing job in raising their 3 kids -- me being the oldest. Thanks to this, I am able to influence my siblings, and they too constantly promote reading the bible and praying every day to their peers.
In receiving this scholarship opportunity I will be more well-equipped to spread the Gospel of Christ. To Him be all the glory.
Respectfully,
Immanuel Guardado
Career Search Scholarship
As a college student, I have been exploring potential career paths that will allow me to fulfill my passion for helping others and making a positive impact on the world. My current focus is on becoming a pastor, theologian, theology professor, and business owner. I am majoring in Theology and minoring in Business to prepare me for these various career paths.
First and foremost, I am passionate about becoming a pastor. I have always had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel. Being a pastor would allow me to combine my faith with my desire to help others. As a pastor, I would be able to serve as a spiritual guide and support system for individuals and families in need. I believe that becoming a pastor will bring me fulfillment because I would be able to make a positive impact on the lives of others while fulfilling my own spiritual calling.
Additionally, I am interested in becoming a theologian and theology professor. My passion for theology began in high school when I began studying the Bible and theology more seriously. I find the study of theology to be intellectually stimulating and rewarding, and I believe that becoming a theologian and theology professor will allow me to share my passion for theology with others. By teaching and writing about theology, I can help others deepen their own faith and understanding of God. I believe that this career path will bring me fulfillment because it would allow me to use my intellectual abilities to serve others.
In addition to my passion for theology, I am also interested in becoming a business owner. I believe that having a business background will be useful in any career path I choose to pursue. My minor in Business is helping me develop a skill set in areas such as finance, marketing, and management. Ultimately, I hope to start my own business that will allow me to make a positive impact on the world. Whether it is a nonprofit organization, a social enterprise, or a for-profit business with a social mission, I believe that I can use my business skills to create a venture that benefits others.
Overall, I believe that these potential careers will bring me fulfillment because they all allow me to combine my passion for helping others with my skills and interests. Becoming a pastor would allow me to serve others spiritually, becoming a theologian and theology professor would allow me to teach and write about my passion for theology, and becoming a business owner would allow me to create a venture that benefits others.
In conclusion, I am excited about the potential career paths that I am exploring in college. I believe that becoming a pastor, theologian, theology professor, and business owner will allow me to use my skills and interests to make a positive impact on the world. I am confident that I have the drive, dedication, and passion necessary to pursue these careers and make a difference in the lives of others. Thank you for considering my application for this scholarship.
Mark A. Jefferson Teaching Scholarship
As a theology student, I have always been fascinated by the interplay between faith and the modern world. I am driven to explore the complexities of the Christian faith and its application in the world today. Through my studies, I have developed a deep understanding of the Christian tradition, and how it has evolved. I believe that my passion for theology, combined with my desire to share this knowledge with others, is what makes me a great fit for a career as a theology professor.
Growing up, I was heavily involved in my church and community, where I developed my leadership skills through my involvement in various extracurricular activities. From being a bible study leader in my junior year to serving as a student ambassador throughout high school, I learned how to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life. These skills have helped me in my studies and my personal life, and I am confident that they will be invaluable in my career as an educator.
As a theology professor, I plan to make a positive impact on the world by teaching my students to think critically about the Christian faith and its place in the modern world. I believe that it is essential for students to understand the historical context of the Bible and the Christian tradition, while also recognizing how this tradition is relevant to our lives today. I want my students to engage with theology in a way that is both intellectually stimulating and spiritually enriching.
My approach to teaching will be characterized by a high level of interactivity and student engagement. I believe that the best way to learn theology is through discussion and debate, and I will encourage my students to share their thoughts and opinions in class. By creating a classroom environment that is welcoming and inclusive, I hope to foster a sense of community among my students and encourage them to explore their own beliefs and values.
In addition to my work as a professor, I plan to make a positive impact on the world by engaging in research that explores the intersection of theology and morality. I am particularly interested in exploring how Christian theology can inform our understanding of issues like poverty, racism, and sexual immorality. Through my research, I hope to contribute to a growing body of scholarship that seeks to use theology as a tool for cultural change toward the ways of Christ Jesus.
Finally, as a theology professor, I believe that it is my responsibility to mentor and support my students as they pursue their own career goals. Whether it is by writing letters of recommendation or providing guidance on their academic and career paths, I am committed to helping my students achieve their full potential. I believe that by investing in the next generation of theologians, we can create a more just and equitable world.
In conclusion, I am passionate about theology and how it can be used to make a positive impact on humanity by introducing Jesus into the lives of many. Through my work as a theology professor, I hope to inspire my students to engage with theology in a way that is both intellectually rigorous and spiritually fulfilling. By encouraging them to think critically and engage with the world around them, I believe that I can help my students become agents of positive change in their communities and beyond. I am excited to begin this journey as an educator and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead.
Thank you for your consideration, may God Bless you!

This drive and commitment have translated to my academics and extracurricular activities, where I have maintained a 3.9 GPA, held leadership positions in the student council and National Honor Society, and even competed in robotics and debate.
While I have found fulfillment in these activities, my ultimate passion lies in sharing the Gospel of Christ. As a Bible study leader in my junior year and a student ambassador throughout high school, I have had the opportunity to engage with others and share my faith. I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of the Gospel and the impact it can have on people's lives.
As I look towards my aspirational career, my goal is to become a pastor and theology professor. Roger Crawford wisely said, “Being challenged in life is inevitable, being defeated is optional.” Since my childhood I have lived fortunately, for example, I live in a two-parent home with a middle-class income and I have been going to private schools for as long as I can remember. My existence was without any hardship other than the occasional math test. This blissful ignorance would soon come to an end as my sophomore year approached. I would come to know that life throws fastballs, and I better pay attention or I'll get knocked in the head.
In my sophomore year of high school, during my first official soccer practice, a stray soccer ball came whistling in and walloped me on the left temple as I was tying my shoes. An hour later I was in the hospital being diagnosed with a concussion, as I couldn’t recall the months of the year backwards, walk straight, or identify the current president. This concussion would begin the worst season I had in my entire life. My recovery took way longer than expected and I ended up losing my entire school year. Though fully recovered by March 2021, I was not able to make up the work of my sophomore year as there was an infeasible amount. I needed to find a way to proceed with my education, as I did not want to repeat my sophomore year. My mother was able to find a fully accredited homeschooling service called “The Abeka Curriculum”. This would mean with enough grit and determination I would be able to enroll next year. The package arrived in April and I began my studies shortly thereafter.
Becoming an online homeschooling student showed me how to self-teach. I can effectively glean knowledge from both textbooks and video resources, as this was my method of learning. This is an ability I utilize to this day which has greatly helped in my learning path since.
Another way in which my concussion helped me improve was by teaching me to manage my time. Prior to my concussion I would spend copious amounts of time on social media and playing video games. Due to the condition of the brain during a concussion, technology is to be heavily limited, if not completely restricted. This is because bright lights and constant brain activity irritate the concussion and can lead to severe headaches. No amount of Instagram or Fortnite use is worth having a splitting headache. Positive changes were beginning, and it was time to tackle my sophomore year once more.
I managed to complete the entirety of the 10th grade’s requirements in five months with the help of my mother, The Abeka Curriculum, and God. In September of 2021, I was able to become a junior and I reunited with my friends, peers, and teachers. I have achieved many milestones since having a concussion, such as being elected into the National Honor Society, becoming a student council member, and obtaining employment. This downfall led me to a season of blessings and has greatly improved my work ethic.
This experience showed me how to persevere in ways that can not be taught but must be lived through. I can not wait to extend my resolve to the collegiate level, where I will be a valuable asset.

As a second-generation Hispanic American working at an American-themed barbecue restaurant called 'Red White & Que Smokehouse,' I have come to appreciate the many opportunities and freedoms that this country provides. I believe that being an American is about embracing the diversity of cultures and ideas that make up this great nation and using those differences to better our communities.
Growing up in a family of immigrants, I learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and the pursuit of the American Dream. My parents sacrificed so much to provide for our family and to give us the chance to succeed. They instilled in me a strong sense of pride in my heritage and a deep appreciation for the opportunities that America provides.
Working at Red White & Que Smokehouse, I have the opportunity to share my love for America with others. The restaurant serves classic American barbecue dishes, and the atmosphere is decked out in patriotic decor. It's a place where people from all walks of life can come together to enjoy good food, and good company, and celebrate what it means to be American.
To me, being an American means having the freedom to express your opinions and beliefs without fear of persecution. It means being able to worship whatever God you choose or to not worship at all. It means having the right to peacefully protest and to fight for the issues you believe in. These are the things that make America great and unique.
But being an American is not just about enjoying the freedoms and privileges of living in this country. It's also about taking responsibility for the well-being of our communities and our fellow citizens. We all have a part to play in making our country a better place for future generations.
For me, this means pursuing my passion for cooking and attending a vocational school to hone my skills. I believe that by mastering my craft, I can make a meaningful contribution to the food industry and bring people together through the power of good food.
It also means giving back to my community by wanting to volunteer at local food banks and homeless shelters. I want to use my skills and resources to help those in need and make a positive impact on their lives.
In conclusion, being an American is about embracing the diverse cultures and ideas that make up our great nation, and using those differences to better our communities. It's about taking responsibility for our actions and making a meaningful contribution to society. And it's about enjoying the many freedoms and opportunities that this country provides while never taking them for granted. I am proud to be an American, and I will continue to work hard to make a positive impact on the world around me.
@normandiealise #GenWealth Scholarship
Generational wealth means having enough money to pass down to future generations so that they too can live a life free of financial worries. It means not having to worry about paying for education, health care, or even the occasional avocado toast. Generational wealth means being able to build a legacy that extends beyond your own lifetime.
For me, achieving generational wealth starts with education. And that's where the #GenerationalWealth Scholarship comes in. As a student, I've realized that attending college debt-free is key to building a solid financial foundation. It opens up opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. For instance, it means that I can pursue my passions without having to worry about taking on high-paying jobs just to pay off student loans. It means that I can buy a house earlier in life, which is something that my parents never had the chance to do. And most importantly, it means that I can pass on the benefits of my education to my own future children.
But the road to generational wealth isn't always an easy one. It takes hard work, dedication, and a willingness to think outside the box. That's why I plan to start my own business one day. I don't want to rely on a single income stream that could be wiped out by a sudden economic downturn. Instead, I want to create multiple income streams that can sustain my family for generations to come.
Of course, starting a business isn't easy. It takes a lot of trial and error, and it requires a willingness to take risks. But I'm up for the challenge. I'm willing to put in the time, effort, and resources needed to build something that can last. And I'm excited about the potential impact that my business could have on my community and beyond.
To me, generational wealth is about more than just money. It's about creating a better future for the people that come after me. It's about making sure that my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have the tools and resources they need to live happy, fulfilling lives. And it's about leaving a mark on the world that goes beyond my own achievements.
In conclusion, the #GenerationalWealth Scholarship is an incredible opportunity for students like me who are committed to building a better future. With the help of this scholarship, I'm confident that I can achieve my goals and make a positive impact on the world.

I believe that one of the most powerful things we can do for others is to help them develop their skills and abilities, and to provide them with the support and guidance they need to succeed. Whether it's through formal mentorship programs or simply by being a role model and offering guidance and advice to those around me, I am committed to helping others achieve their goals and realize their full potential.

There are many important causes and issues that I am passionate about, including environmental sustainability and community service. I believe that it is our responsibility as citizens to use our voices and our resources to make a positive impact in the world, and I am committed to doing my part to make a difference.
One specific area where I plan to focus my efforts is in the field of education. As someone who is deeply passionate about learning, I believe that education is one of the most powerful tools we have for creating positive change in the world. Whether it's through volunteering in schools or working with education-focused organizations, I am committed to helping ensure that every child has access to a high-quality education that will help them achieve their dreams and reach their full potential.
Finally, I plan to give back to my community by being an active and engaged citizen. I believe that it is important for all of us to be involved in our communities, to stay informed about the issues and challenges facing our neighborhoods and cities, and to work together to find solutions. Richard Neumann Scholarship
In today's world, there are a plethora of problems that we encounter on a daily basis, and it can often be difficult to find solutions to those problems. However, when faced with a challenge, we have to come up with innovative solutions to solve it. One such problem that I encountered was the hassle of managing multiple social media accounts. After struggling with this issue for a while, I decided to create a platform that would simplify this process, and here's my detailed plan on how I would solve this problem if I had the necessary resources.
To begin with, managing multiple social media accounts can be an arduous task. The process involves logging in and out of different accounts, creating individual posts for each account, and monitoring the responses on each platform. This entire process can take a considerable amount of time, effort, and resources. This is why I decided to create a platform that would help streamline this process, saving time and making it easier to manage multiple accounts.
My solution to this problem is a social media management platform that is designed to cater to the needs of individuals or businesses with multiple social media accounts. The platform would allow users to manage all their social media accounts from a single interface, making it more convenient and efficient.
The platform would include features such as a single dashboard for all social media accounts, scheduling of posts across multiple platforms, and a unified inbox for messages and notifications. Additionally, the platform would have analytics tools that would enable users to measure the impact of their social media marketing efforts, making it easier to track the success of their campaigns.
In order to create this platform, I would require a team of developers, designers, and project managers who would help bring the idea to fruition. The platform would be built using the latest web technologies and would be designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. I would ensure that the platform is responsive and compatible with all popular devices and browsers to ensure a seamless experience for users.
To attract users, I would offer a free trial period during which they can test out the features of the platform. I would also create a user-friendly onboarding process to ensure that users can easily navigate the platform and make the most of its features. Once users have had a chance to experience the platform, I would offer competitive pricing plans that would cater to the needs of individual users or businesses of all sizes.
In addition to the platform, I would also invest in marketing and advertising to ensure that the platform reaches its target audience. I would collaborate with social media influencers, run targeted ads on social media, and participate in relevant industry events to showcase the platform and create awareness.
Lastly, to ensure the platform remains relevant and up-to-date, I would continually gather feedback from users and invest in further research and development. This would help to identify new features that could be added to the platform to make it even more useful and efficient for users.
In conclusion, the idea of a social media management platform that simplifies the process of managing multiple social media accounts can save time, resources and can greatly benefit individuals and businesses alike. With the right team, resources, and strategy, I am confident that my vision of this platform would become a reality and create a positive impact on the lives of many.
Novitas Diverse Voices Scholarship
The power of diverse voices in public relations can have a significant impact on shaping public narratives in a positive way. Today's society is more diverse than ever before, and as conservative Christians, we believe that all voices need to be represented in public relations and communications to create a truly inclusive and diverse narrative.
By amplifying diverse voices, we can introduce new perspectives and ideas that broaden our thinking and help us better understand the world around us. For instance, after the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak, it wasn't until we heard from a diverse range of voices that meaningful change began to happen. Conservative Christians have the responsibility to represent themselves and be represented in public relations, as this can help build trust and credibility. People tend to trust the messenger and believe the message when they see themselves represented in the stories being told.
Diverse representation in public narratives can also help break down stereotypes and prejudices. By sharing stories and perspectives from people of different races, ethnicities, religions, genders, and sexual orientations, we can challenge the assumptions and biases that people may have, creating a more inclusive and accepting society.
One way that conservative Christians can benefit from diverse representation is by being featured in advertisements and campaigns. This would help to break down the stereotypes and prejudices that have been historically associated with the Christian community. By showing conservative Christians in everyday situations and highlighting their contributions and accomplishments, we can normalize their experiences and make them more relatable to a wider audience.
It is essential to note, however, that the power of diverse voices in public relations does have its challenges. Companies and organizations must be intentional in their efforts to be inclusive and supportive of diverse voices. They must work to address the systemic barriers that may prevent these voices from being heard, such as biases and prejudices that may exist within the organization. Conservative Christians need to feel valued and heard in public narratives, and in order for this to happen, organizations must create opportunities for diverse voices to take on leadership roles within the organization.
In conclusion, conservative Christians should embrace the power of diverse voices in public relations as a means of creating a more inclusive and diverse narrative. By providing new perspectives and ideas, building trust and credibility, and breaking down stereotypes and prejudices, public relations can help create a more accepting society. As conservative Christians, we must ensure that we are well-represented and included in public narratives and that organizations create a supportive and inclusive environment for all voices.
