Many special needs students struggle with feelings of isolation, frustration, or self-doubt because they may learn differently from their peers. My mission as a future special education teacher is to create an environment where students feel safe, respected, and encouraged to grow academically, emotionally, and socially. Becoming a teacher has become a stronger goal through my personal experiences, educational journey, and current role as an instructional assistant. I have always admired the impact teachers have on their students, not only academically but also emotionally and socially.
