With my legal education, I hope to make the world a fairer place. Money and the extent to which we have access to it shape nearly every choice we make and every opportunity we have. What it shouldn't do, however, is allow people to live above the law. With my degree, I'd like to pursue a career in the financial crimes and fraud section of the DOJ. I'd like to help ensure that we are all considered equal in the eyes of the law, regardless of how much money we have in the bank. However, the high cost of law school, unfortunately, often means people will have to sacrifice their passions to pay off student debt. Scholarships would allow me to pursue this career path without any financial barriers.
