Bio

I can't condense who I am into 1600 characters, but I'll try! Speaking of trying, that's a huge part of who I am. I always give my best effort, finishing all that I start while doing my best. I'm a high school senior in my 3rd semester of the IB program as a full candidate, and it's the hardest thing I've ever done. Still, with my stubborn determination, I've done nothing less than excel, with all A's and the #1 rank in my class of 587. I also make time for my passions, my favorite example being Best Buddies, a nonprofit that creates wonderful friendships between students in general and special education, of which I have been a part of for 4 years. I've also been President for 2, something that's happened only 3 other times in the club's 26-year history. I work as a part of my 20+ member officer team, leading the club of 270 by facilitating classrooms, recording attendance, setting up, taking down, and running events, and even creating events and new opportunities to make the bonds we foster as strong as they deserve to be. It has been a life-changing experience for both my buddy Erica and I, and I will continue on my future college campuses by joining/creating a chapter. My 4-year (and counting!) friendship with Erica and experience in Best Buddies has thoroughly solidified a life-long love in me for helping people and making their lives better, in turn helping give an indecisive me direction when looking for a career. Best Buddies, Erica, and all the connections I've helped happen are truly the best things to happen to me, and I can't wait to keep making a difference.

I'm not really sure, all I know is that my goal is to help as many people as possible. I've known so many people who helped me and my loved ones over the years, and have even gotten to see what it's like to make a substantial impact in others myself, and it's inspired me. Whether it be through my writing, my art, my work in psychology, or, most likely, all 3 combined, I may not know where exactly I'm going, but I will be ensuring that my work makes a difference in people's lives.
