Bio

My name is Hoover. I am a senior in high school, and I’m planning to pursue a career in the automotive field. During my junior year, the pressure of deciding what to do after high school was growing. I wasn't sure what I would do after high school, but I remembered a class I took the year before. That was the automotive class my school offered. Working on cars seemed difficult, and there were a lot of parts and components that make cars so complex, but being able to fix them and understand how to work on them interested me. So I decided to continue taking those classes to learn more, even if it was difficult. Not only do I find cars pretty interesting, but knowing how they work is very important, especially because we drive them every day. My love for cars sparked with muscle cars. Hearing their loud engines scream and exhaust sound like fireworks drew me in. I'm not sure what I'll be after all my schooling is done, but I hope to one day work on cars and help people with their problems. If possible, maybe I'll work for a company that pushes the envelope, making cars faster and louder.

Work ethic is a set of moral values that demonstrate integrity and accountability in the workplace. It also reflects a worker's drive to complete tasks correctly and efficiently, even when it's not enjoyable. There are many factors that go into a strong work ethic. You must be reliable and take accountability; strive to be good at your job and if you mess up be willing to say that you messed up and learn from it and do better the next time. You must always have professionalism in the workplace and keep a good attitude and stay respectful during hard or difficult situations. Also doing what is right at all times can show your ethics and professionalism. Another way to show your worth ethic is your dedication; going above and beyond what you need to do or doing things before you are told sets a good reputation for yourself or show other co-workers someone to look up to. Along with being dedicated you must be productive because time is important to you and others around you. Managing your time and focusing on the task at hand shows others your work ethic. Being adaptable is very important because the workplace is always changing and it's important to be able to change with it and push through challenges. There are many advantages to following these morals of work ethic. More opportunities could open up if employers see you have a drive and dedication to what you do you are more likely to receive more opportunities. Also with that derivation comes experience and more experience the better you naturally become so not only are you improving your chances and relationships but also your own abilities. Lastly, it's important to be at work on time and by on time try to get in earlier than right on time. If you aren't showing up then why would an employer want you? Show up and show out to show yourself and others who you are and you are dedicated to your work if you like it or not push through and complete what you start. Be kind and respectful and be the person others can look up to and rely on. For me personally having a strong work ethic has helped me greatly in school. I went from almost failing every class to straight A’s just because I learned how to have a good attitude and work hard on my work and it really paid off.
