Hello! My name is Hannah. I am a senior in high school, graduating with my high school diploma and an Associate of Arts degree. I am a motivated, achievement-oriented student who is passionate about learning. While I dedicate the majority of my time to schoolwork, I enjoy creative and active pursuits, like drawing, crocheting, strength training, and listening to music. I cherish spending time with family and friends.
I have prioritized caring for my mother, who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago, over extracurricular activities. Despite the challenges, I remained committed to my academics, enhancing my ability to prioritize and adapt. This experience deepened my appreciation for perseverance and supporting loved ones.
I am passionate about researching the brain's workings, especially the differences between neurotypical and neurodivergent minds. My interest stems from my personal experience with ADHD. Understanding its neurological basis has been transformative, helping me realize that my symptoms have a tangible explanation. This learning has brought me clarity, self-acceptance, and a greater appreciation for how others and myself experience the world.
I plan to earn a bachelor’s and graduate degree in computer science to become a solution architect. This role blends research, design, and problem-solving to develop innovative computer systems.
My biggest motivation is my family. As a first-generation student, I want to make my mother proud and give back for her sacrifices. I see achieving financial stability as a key goal and a responsibility I take seriously.

I am deeply committed to pursuing both a bachelor’s degree and a doctorate in computer science, driven by a sincere passion for learning and problem-solving and a strong desire to explore innovative solutions to complex challenges. As a first-generation student, my educational path carries a deeper meaning; it is not solely about personal achievement, but also a heartfelt tribute to the sacrifices and resilience of my mother. She has been the cornerstone of my journey, always encouraging me to pursue my dreams and pushing me to overcome the obstacles that life presents.
My ultimate career aspiration is to become a solution architect, a role that combines my love for research, design, and logical problem-solving. Solution architects play a crucial role in analyzing and improving an organization’s computer systems, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business needs. This career excites me because it bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application. I enjoy working through complex problems and designing innovative solutions, and this field allows me to do just that while making a tangible impact on companies and the people who rely on their systems.
My interest in this field stems from my curiosity about how different minds process information and solve problems. Having Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), I have spent time researching neurodivergence and how various cognitive approaches can enhance problem-solving. I believe this perspective will be valuable in solution architecture, where understanding different workflows and designing adaptive, user-friendly systems is essential.
Beyond personal fulfillment, my goal is to contribute to the advancement of technology by building efficient, adaptable systems that improve organizational operations. Whether by optimizing workflows or developing new frameworks, I want to create solutions that drive progress. My academic journey will equip me with the knowledge and experience needed to achieve this vision, and I am eager to take on the challenges ahead.
