1. During the year 2020 was my first deep dive to kpop as many can potentially say. TXT was not my first kpop group but during this immersive period I was first introduction to TXT from their interaction with BTS. From then on I listened to their songs, watch their TO-DO content and eventually became a MOA. 2. One of the most important characteristics of a MOA would be how welcoming and open we are towards others. When first being in this fandom I was welcomed with open arms :) 3. One of my TXT bias would have to Beomgyu mainly because of how chaotic he is and how he tends to trigger the other members. My second bias would be Soobin due to his shy nature and his ability to quickly be serious. Although Beomgyu and Soobin tend to trigger each other the most with their banter, their relationship is my favorite. 4. Although my love for TXT is huge I will always have a special place for Mr. Worldwide handsome, Jin from BTS. 5. My favorite TXT song would have to be 20 cm, it is severely underrated ! I love the RnB sound and how every members vocals can be heard and appreciated (sad to know that it'll probably not be preformed live ever). 6. I have had the chance to see them in concert during 2023 on their ACT:Sweet Mirage tour, my first kpop concert ever ! It was such a surreal experience being surrounded by people who were also obsessed with the same group as me and hearing everyone collectively scream the lyrics to songs I was so used to singing alone. 7. My favorite album concept would have to be from their Chaos Chapter:Freeze due to the majestical and ice-prince looks they had during the album. The songs on this album in my opinion represented a growing moment in their careers as they are going from starting off as young kids to now reaching their 20s, an unfortunately confusing time in all our lives. The album also holds fun kid-like songs like Magic and their iconic 0X1=LOVESONG. A honorary mention would be their EP Temptation because I love a blonde Soobin moment. 8. My university does provide me with some aid, however to pay for the remaining balance of school tuition I'm currently working two jobs in order to pay for course materials, housing, and transportation. 9. This scholarship will immensely help me cover past loans I had to take out in order to cover academic costs and will help alleviate the load of financial burden school has accumulated. The scholarship will fill in the gaps for tuition and can help cover future transportation and housing costs. 10. TXT especially through their music has allowed me to take a break from academic stress and has allowed me to know when I should take breaks for my own well being. They have also showed me to appreciate the laughs life brings. 11. My undergraduate degree is currently in Biology and I plan on pursuing a career in dentistry. This journey has not been the smoothest but through my education I plan on advocating for free dental/health care services. I also plan on sharing the importance of oral health and hopefully be able to provide accessible services to underserved communities.
