The business I aspire to create one day is dance based. As a black dancer, I noticed there are little to no pointe shoe or dance companies that have a selection of dance shoes and apparel to match the skin tones of African- American dancers and dancers of other ethnicities. This is essential to dancers because we are expected to have this long line along the silhouettes of our bodies, but wearing pink tights and pink ballet shoes throws off the line for us because it does not match our skin tone. My business would help to diversify the dance world, and include dance apparel that would not only be comfortable, but have a large variety of skin tone colors to select from. I hope that my business will assist dancers all of the world no matter what ethnicity or color of their skin. My business would also a fund to help dancers that are less fortunate. That is my idea.
