Have you ever wondered about the view from the top of the Eiffel tower, or what it's like to walk where monarchs lived centuries ago? Have you ever watched a historic battle come to life? In my travels, I've done these and more. I've been travelling my whole life, which has changed how I view the world. I’ve witnessed a re-creation of the Battle of Bannockburn where it took place. I’ve wandered through many castles, taking a closer look at the ancient world through the eyes of royalty. While the world may seem big at times, it looks so small when you're high above the City of Lights with a beautiful skyline unfolding before your eyes. My love of travel led me to an interest in Folklore and Ethnomusicology; the study of culture behind storytelling, music, and more. There’s a hidden magic within us all that can be glimpsed in the way we express ourselves. I’m eager to learn more about that magic, and maybe inspire others to find their own. When I’m not exploring, I write using what I’ve learned from my adventures to create fictional universes. I haven’t published anything yet, but one day I will. My goal in life is to make people’s days brighter in one way or another, whether that’s with my writing, an act of kindness, or a well-needed joke. As college approaches, I’m preparing for the next phase of my future to begin. It seems intimidating to turn the page to a new chapter of my life, but just like looking at the skyline of Paris, the world isn’t always as big as it seems. I look forward to exploring the hidden magic of life as I continue my journey.
