I’ve been struggling since I was young to become a creator. I created lots of things when I was younger. I took engineering classes in high school to better prepare myself to be a builder in today’s society. I hope to pursue an architectural degree and get a civil engineering major as my undergraduate degree. I hope this dream will help to encourage people to achieve their dreams and help make society better in whatever path they choose.

I always had the background of a Christian family, school, and church. However, I didn't have a firm trust in God and a relationship with Him. I always had in the back of my mind that he was real, but only thought he was there to guide me as long as I did good things. I thought my faith was based on righteous works. I never wanted to get any closer, because I thought I was good with God. However, everything began to change during my sophomore year of high school. Tons of trials flooded my life from every direction including COVID, friend issues, and family issues. There wasn't a way to get them to stop. I would think I had one trial under control and another would come. I tried everything I could to get it all to stop hurting. I listened to music, played video games, and cut myself off from the world. I fell into a deep hole full of void and emptiness. I looked to God and asked, "Why?" That question led to something special.
That is, I learned to accept that the world isn't my home. Before you stop reading, please listen to my story as I know it will help you in your journey. I vowed to God that I would love Him and help show His love to others. He brought joy, comfort, peace, and contentment to my life. I fell in love with his words and kept noticing all the ties to reality. I became sure that God was real and alive and working in my life and in so many others. I knew that my faith was solely in my belief in Jesus Christ, not by works. This has completely helped me gain the realization that Jesus is alive and that he is helping me every step of the way. Transgenderism is an escape from all that is around us. I thought that I had control of all the trials that came across my life, but that was far from my grasp. Life is not easy by any means, but we have to find a solution. Transgenderism came into view during my high school years, but I didn’t follow it. Why, because my God created me perfectly in his image. If I had continued down that path, I wouldn’t have seen the many ways the Lord was trying to show me beauty in life. I talk to Him regularly and have been shown that the societal thinking I had allowed to enter into my head had led me to believe I wasn’t perfect. Looking inwardly now, I see that life is not about what I think, but about what God thinks of me. If only we’d listen and see the beauty God created that is already in each of us.
NE1 NE-Dream Scholarship
Dreams are not often reached. However, when we set goals that are intervals before the end goal, being our dreams, then we have a higher chance of achieving them. My dreams are to be an architect with his architectural firm, live in a decent house in the middle of several acres of land, and live near my family.
Currently, I am chasing after my architectural dream. I am studying Civil engineering as my major for my undergraduate bachelor's program. This, in turn, will allow me to pursue a graduate school with an architectural program and I can further my education there. After this, I will need to have a certain amount of fieldwork. Then, I will need to take a special architectural exam. Then, I will finally be an architect. It seems like a lot of work, but I am prepared for it. Dreams, with hard work, and using the gifts and talents that the Lord God has given us. I want to be an architect because I felt God calling me to be one. Also, I took what is called an aptitude test. This test shows you what you are naturally good at doing. The first thing to pop up after hearing the call from God, Was An Architect as a plausible career.
I would, then, like to chase my dream of a decent house. After paying off student loans, I would like to save up for a decent house on a significant plot of land. I'd like to have my garden, and pole barn where I can work on engineering projects. I want this to be free to create and be in God’s creation. That is the second interval in my life's dreams.
The third interval, or goal, would be to live near my family. This is hard, as we all want to live in different places. However, I would be willing to move with them if that would take some sacrifice. However, to be near my family, the people I love, I feel it is necessary. In all of this, I have to trust the Lord God.
The Lord God is the ultimate ruler of Earth. I may have dreams, but the Lord God is my priority in all of this. If my dream cannot be fulfilled, then it is for the benefit of God and his kingdom. You could even say that God's dreams are my dreams. I will work to bring more people into his kingdom. I will work to establish A good name for the god of the universe. Even if my dreams don't come to fruition, my end goal and dream is to be together with Christ forever.

Serving is not easy, but it is of great importance so that we improve our local community, State, or even our country, the United States of America.
My faith in the God of the universe helps inspire me to get involved in my community. When I decided to become a Christian, I knew I had to follow God's word. That was self-explanatory. However, I shortly realized that I needed to take care of the things that God, himself, loves. God loves his people and his creation. I, in turn, developed a love for the people around me and the world that he gave to us. Mostly, I have served in a more communal aspect. However, I would like to try and serve more to benefit the Earth that got the Lord has given us.
Another inspiration that has helped me to get more involved in my community is seeing other people do it. Other people set the stage for others to serve. When one person takes those first steps other people soon follow. My grandma has a big heart for serving. She serves at two different nonprofit organizations and has paved the path for me to strive to be like her. I want to serve the community around me.
I have served many times with different opportunities that my high school had given me. And, I still serve in many different ways.
First, I worked with a non-profit organization called Phil's Friends which helps make and prepare care packages for cancer patients across the Chicagoland area. I have served numerous times with different people from my school, my grandma, and also my family. At this organization, we would decorate boxes in which we gave some essentials and fun games and activities. We made sure that each item was in each corresponding box. We also made cards for the cancer patients to read and to see the specific people that helped put their care packages together.
Second, I served at a wood chopping yard where I would chop logs for several hours and put them in firewood bundles during the winter season. These tasks were to help families that had trouble heating their homes and had fireplaces to use to battle the bitter cold.
Third, I serve at different times in my church. I have served many times doing communion and ushering people to their seats. I have also volunteered to help at different activities at church. This includes passing the giving plate, passing the bread or juice, or even just generally greeting two people coming in.
Lastly, I consider it “serving” when I go out to vote. Whenever I vote, I believe that I am helping to serve the nation by putting someone in that will serve all of us and will help to grow the nation of the United States into a more prosperous and generous Nation.
Overall, I see these little things as a way to spread the idea of giving back to the community and our nation. As one person goes out to do different little things, I feel that that makes a big difference in the lives of others, and shows others to do the same by going out and serving the community that they are a part of and helping the nation that we are all living in together.

Serving is an opportunity that many of us take for granted. By this, I mean that serving is a way to benefit our community but it also benefits us internally. We see many people with smiles on their faces after serving or hearing great stories of how the work that we have done impacted others.
