I grew up as a local chess champion and made volunteer work my primary goal before I was even in high school. At age 13, I had donated chess boards to five local schools, volunteered with the police department to teach chess to "at-risk" teens, and assisted in the chess coaching at my former elementary school. My years of chess accomplishments paid off when I received a scholarship to join the six-time national championship chess team at Webster University. I continued my public outreach by becoming the Webster University Chess Club president and hosting numerous on-campus events, teaching at local schools, and even partnering with the Alzheimer's Association to direct multiple fundraiser tournaments.
I was rewarded my Bachelors Degree in Studio Art in 2018 and moved to Miami, FL shortly after. I have become very passionate about clean energy and now have my sights set on becoming a Nuclear Engineer. My current goal is to earn a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University, then specialize in Nuclear Engineering for my Masters.
