Hi, I'm Hannah. I'm a global citizen - born in the Northwoods of America and raised in the heart of Europe. My international upbringing required me to become interculturally fluent and empowered me to move with ease between cultures in my adult life. It taught me to find common threads in ideas and experiences, to gather through observation what I couldn’t through language, and to thoughtfully engage people with different backgrounds, belief systems, and life experiences. It has built in me a passion for creatively combining my strengths and passions in a way that will have lasting impact on the people around me. I have spent my career in marketing startups, nonprofits, the venture capital world and faith-based organizations. I’ve worked with CEOs, mental health professionals, expats, religious leaders, students and under-resourced families. My work and volunteer experiences have given me a well-rounded perspective on the context that makes up an individual’s life and the various elements that may influence their internal world and mental health. In all of my positions, whether that be Content Director, Brand Associate, or Producer, my focus has always been on the people I work with or serve and on creating a safe space for them to be human. This fall, I am making a career shift and going back to school to get my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy. As I pursue a career in Counseling, I am very excited about the opportunity to create a space free of judgment, practice active listening, and offer the gift of empathy to others.
