Hi my name is Hannah Favors. I am 17 years old and a high school Senior. Have you ever thought about how gender roles play an influential part in your life? This was my mom for many years until she met my stepdad who would then change my whole life around. For many years my mom had played the role of both mom and dad. Being raised by a single mother household impacted me in many ways. Growing up in a single mother household was hard for my mom because finding the time to provide for us. My story starts at the age of 15 month old. My mom was married to my biological dad for 8 years and he was extremely mean, and emotional and mentally abusive to my mother. When I was born he claimed that I was not his child. Finally my mom had enough and filed for a divorce. What a selfish man. He took majority of the savings that my mom and said that he had no money to give to my mom for me. She then took me and my grandma and we moved to Texas. For many years I always question why does my real dad not love me. What did I do for him to walk out of my life. After the divorce, my mom never dated again and worked hard each and everyday to keep food on the table and afford our house. The bare minumium amount of child support that my sperm donor did give she would save it and then take some money out for my dance classes. When my mom met my stepdad it took her some time to understand and love again because of the emotion and mental games that my dad had played with my mom. I want to be able to support and take of my parents when they grow old and they don't have to work. I want to make a positive impact on the world by using agriculture. As you know today our farmer population is starting to go down. Without farmers we don't have food to eat. Agriculture take real special people to raise and process the animals. My speciality in Agriculture is chickens. Along with being a farmer, I want to have healthier farming practices that are not only healthier for us but also for the animals that are being raised. Our food supply contains so many unhealthy GMOs, Antibiotics, and what other mysterious chemicals being implanted into our food supply. I want to be able to provide the people with healthier and more organic food that benefits the people's health. Overall, my momma has inspired and pushed me to do my best and to reach my goals. If it wasn't for her, I would not be where I am today. She has influenced me in so many ways that I cannot explain. She has taught me life skills that I will need today and when I become a mother one day. I just don't want to make the same mistake that my mother made and being in an unhealthy and toxic marriage. I want the complete opposite. I love my momma and I couldn't ask for a much better mom.

Have you ever though that things have impacted your life in ways that you cannot explain? Cancer, Single-Parent Household, Low Income Families can change and inspire the way that I you want to live your life. I lost my grandma to cancer in 2021, and for many years I have lived in a single-parent household raised by my mother. With this I want to make sure that I don't make the same mistake as the rest of my family. These experiences have helped me to become the person that I am today. Cancer has impacted my life because I lost my best friend ( my grandma due to it ) she was a 2 time survivor of kidney cancer. My grandma was a good woman and she loved and cared for those around her. She was there when people needed a helping hand. She had survive cancer so many times. The last time it spreaded to a new area. This has influenced my career aspirtations it opened a door to a whole new career path that I have never been exposed to. We got into the world of Ag. As much as I didn't want her to leave she opened up so many new opportunities and ideas for me to explore. I have also been raised in a single-parent household for many years of my life. This impacts my career future aspirations because I don't want to make the same mistakes that my mom made. I want to better myself and hope to pursue my own business so I can be a stay at home mom. It also helps me to find a career that I actually am interesting pursuing and finding my purpose. It was hard when my mom was always working and she never took a break until she finally met my stepdad but even still she works harder. This has influnced my career aspiration because it helps me to find that equal balance between work and play. You have to find an equal ground. Everything that I have been through has shaped me into the person that I am today because it has taught me to go for what I want in life. Even though I have been through so much it has helped prepare me to be ready for what career and place that I will be working at one day. Cancer has been past from many members in my family. Along with mother being single parent households too. I am ready to break that generation chain and start something everything from career, to the way that I live, and lastly taking care of my health.

Hi my name is Hannah Favors. I am a current senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I come from a hard working mother father and I am part of the middle class. My mom has gotten her bachelor's degree in nursing and then her master's in nursing admistration. My biological had walked out of my life when I was just 15 months old. This year my dad will be cutting me off of child support this year. My mom is remarried to an awesome man. My stepdad works for COSTCO as a stocker. The reason I want to pursue an education is because I am the first in my family to go on a different college route and study an whole new world that has never been introduced until now. Agriculture is what I will be studying. I want to major in animal science and then get certificates in poultry production. I want to know as much as I can about chickens and the chicken industry. With my education I hope to expand my knowledge in poultry production. I also want to eventually start my own business with poultry. I also hope to make a positive impact within the poultry industry. I would one day like to work for Tyson Foods as a broiler production manager and for the USDA as a food inspector for poultry related products.

My favorite community event that I have participated in has been many different events that my local church has hosted. Imagine walking through the scenes of history back to the biblical days and looking through the lens of the people with Jesus's life. Everything from him performing many meraciles and then him dying on the cross for our sins. This is called the Journey with Jesus. The Journey with Jesus has been my favorite local community event that I have participated in this Spring. The Journey of Jesus has many amazing impacts that many people cannot explain. You get to encounter the Holy Spirit. This event was meaningful because it was the week before Easter and we put together stations that represented Jesus life before he died and then when he died. This event was meaningful because as I was giving the people a tour of each station and explaining to them what each scene was about. People got to see what the life of Jesus was like and how he lived his life. Through this event it was a great way to share the Gospel of Christ and how Jesus's life impacts our world and our lives on a daily basis. Through this event I got to show the community how Jesus and God love us. Based off of this community event that my church had hosted I would like to see more people get to experience and learned about the love that Christ has to offer. The biggest positive impact that I would like to see happened is more people to come to Christ and to get to know him on a deeper more personal level. There is a time when either Jesus is going to return or you may die one day but knowing that Christ is alive and you will get to be with him forever in enterinty. If more people get to know Christ then people would not be afraid to speak out for their faith. From this event another positive impact that I would like to see in my community from this even though you may not agree with the beliefs that we have but being able to have a respectable mindset and respecting other people and being able to love others the way that Jesus loves all of us. When stepping out in faith and obedience you never know what is going to happen. Seeing the Journey with Jesus has shaped my eyes and open my eyes in a whole new amazing way that I see the Lord of my life. You never know who is watching and observing you.

How does education impact our lives on a daily bias? Furthering my education is important to me because it will help to expand and grow my knowledge in the field that I want to go into. Everything is always education. You are always learning no matter what you are doing. Everywhere you go there is always something new to explore or experience. Music has helped me to see the world around me. Furthering my education means to me is learning and expanding my knowledge and to make changes within my industry field. Music is such an important part of my life and been in my life since I was 2 years. I started off with my introduction to music with dance beginning at the age of 2. Many years later I learn to read music and play an instrument. Music helps me to release all of the emotions that I have and express who the real me is. Music has also helped me to cope because through music and dance I get to pick a song that I am feeling currently and come up with choergrpahy for that song. Many emotions are expressed through music. Music has helped me to cope with the difficulties of my life because it let's me and allow me to let loose and let down my hair. Music is filled with many words and expressions. When things get hard I use music as a way to cope with things. Music to me is fun and full of life. No matter the situation and what happens music can always help you to find a sense of peace no matter the storm and trials that you are going through. Music helps me to relate to the situation no matter what the cost is and how the situation is. Music is full of life and expression. I have never been affected by crime. Thank God that has not happened. Crime has not been part of my life and never will be. I do not have people that I know that have committed crimes and I never have committed crime. Crime is just unlawful and unjust. Music has been a part of me since I was little. I cannot imagine a world without music. Music shapes us to be the person that I will one day be. Music inspires and helps build a world of creativity. Music has also taught me so many life lessons that I will use many years down the road and how it will help me to grow and challenge me. Music is an emotion and connects all world. Music is a universal voice.

Oh where do I begin? Life is full of many different experiences and trials. How do you think challenges and obstacles shape you into the person that you are today? Speaking on the behalf of personal experience the biggest obstacle that I faced happened during my Freshman year of high school. During this time I was still navigating, trying to find out who I am and where I belong. Freshman year was an extremely dark and confusing time for me. I was on my high school drill team and I joined because I loved to dance and it was a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Well instead of being a dream it turned into a nightmare. I started getting bullied by my teammates because I was the only white girl on the team and the only Bible believing Christian on the team. I made fun of all the time because I carried my Bible everywhere I went. It also didn't help that a lot of my friends turned on me. Along with that I was dealing with the death of my grandma. These obstacles have shaped me into the person that I am today because it has given me an understanding that not everyone is going to like especially if you are a Christian. This had led to personal growth because it helped me to rely more on God and trust God's plan. It also taught me that just because we want to do something and we think it is best for us it is but in reality it may not be what God thinks is best for us. The way I have overcame these challenges is the fact that I have had Jesus to lean close to. This is the best kind of growth that has happened is the spiritual growth. This experience that I have encountered influenced my outlook on education by releasizing the fact that high school is your hardest years. It also taught me that in order to go far I need to focus on my grades and when the time is right then it will happen. It also taught me that the education system needs like and that you must work hard for anything that you want. This process helped me to recenter my priorities. I plan on using my education to positively impact my community or the world by our food supply. I want to major in Poultry Science. With my education I want to learn about the chicken industry and how I can improve the industry. I want to make food accessible and affordable for everyone including the food quality.

Have you ever looked into our local food supply? Everything from the animals that are raised to the food that we consume. After high school I am looking into going into Poultry Science. I want to work for Tyson Foods as a Broiler Production Manger or work for the USDA as a Food Inspector/Grader. I want to use my education of Poultry Science to make the world a better place by helping others understand what goes into the food supply and how we can take care of our food supply. For the chicken houses and stuff I want to help them be raised more humanely so that we have better meat quality and less poisoning of the food. I also want to bring our chicken back to the all natural way so that they are not being pumped with growth hormones and what ever other things that they are injecting the birds with. I want to make the world a better place by food so that there is less diseases and other health issues that we can help fight and make our immunity better. The more healthier we eat and change some things about our lifestyle the high the chance that we have of living a longer and healthier life. To be honest I have gone through some much adversity in my life. The last 4 years of high school have been the worst times that I have gone through some stuff. The way that I have overcame these adversities is the fact that I had Jesus to walk alongside me and my family and church community. It all started my freshman year of high school where I had joined the drill team at my high school. I am minority there since I go to a mostly black school. I was the only white girl and only Christian girl on the team. I had gotten death threats and wanted me to say all kinds of things and then told that they would hurt me if I had said it. I tried out again my sophomore year of high school and made the team again. After our 3rd football game I resigned and took a stand for my faith because the girls on the team made it extremely obvious that I did not belong on the team. Along with being bullied my freshman year I had also loss my grandma due to cancer. I kept on asking why does this keep on happening to me. I have learned over the years that God is preparing me for the next chapter in my life. I have to keep on trusting him. The only way that I have overcame so much adversity is through faith and faith alone. I also overcame it through prayer and spending time with other believers that would walk through the trials alongside me.

Fighting for faith, persecution, and learning to stand for faith. Standing firm for what you believe and why you believe the way you do. This movie has impacted me is actually a movie series called God's Not Dead. This movie series has impacted my life because it has taught me to stand true for Christ. The persecution that these people went through in the movies shows us the things that we go through as Christians when it comes to living for Jesus Christ. The God's Not Dead movies shows us that anyone can through any type of persecution esipcally when it comes to faith. These movies have impacted my life because it has been an encouragement to me because it shows me that the people had over came these challenges. This teaches me that as a Christian you will go through trial and tribulation. God believers his people and that he provides for us. There were moments in the movies where something went wrong and they didn't understand why this was happening to them. The people that were being persecuted overcame these challenges. This shows me that you can over come anything with God on your side. These movies also taught me about what true faith and how you can stand firm for your faith. This movie has also impacted me today because it shows me all the things that I can and will be facing in the real world. The God's Not Dead Series has also impacted me because it shows us the different testmonies that each of the main characters have and how they over came these trials. Each movie plots has different characters stories but they all intermingle with the different movies. They show us that anything is possible and that everything works in God's timing and that when the time is right then God will open that door. Each movie line shows each main character's faithfulness and how no matter the persecution that they had faced they remained faith and obedient to the Lord and followed him faithfully. I highly recommend these movies. These movies teach us amazing life lessons about family, faith, and God. These movies helped me to grow in my faith. It also showed me how I can overcome persecution and stand for Jesus Christ no matter what will happen. God is in control and he will provide and give you what you need. This is a reminder to me that I just need to trust the Lord and follow him obediently.

Have you ever had that one teacher throughout your school years that has impacted you in a way that you never knew she/he would impact you? She is a wonderful short, black hair, older woman, kind, caring, and compassionate. Her name is Mrs. Akins. She was my English II teacher when I was a Sophomore in high school. She is my all time favorite teacher. She made an impact in my life and she has walked with me through the good, bad, and ugly. This is a great woman that I will always remember. She helped me to see the world in a whole new way that I never knew existed. She has been that light in my life. When I have been going through those extremely tough time she had always been there when I needed life advice and guidance when it comes to making decisions. She also helped me walked closer to the Lord by giving advice and pouring the love of Christ. She truly represented a woman of God and what it means to walk by faith. She is a prayer warrior. Not only was she a good teacher when it comes to English but also a great person to be around. Mrs. Akins has taught me many skills that I need in order to keep going and walking in my life. She has been my biggest cheerleader. She has pushed me in ways that I cannot explain that has helped me to become a better person. She is such a happy and joyful person that she shown me what true joy is and how to keep your head during the most difficult trials and tribulations. She helped me to see the world in a more optimistic way instead of seeing it in a negative way. She is also one of greatest women besides my mother that I look up to. Thanks to her she not only made English fun and easy but she also helped me to see the world from a whole different perspective and how to live my life to the fullest. She has taught me many different lessons throughout my years in high school. I still stop by her class to see almost everyday. One of the biggest lessons that Mrs. Akins has taught me is to be joyful during the trials and tribulations that you are going through and that you will be going through in life. This helped me to see that everything will work out but sometimes the answers that we get may not be what we want to hear but it is what's best for us. That has been the biggest lesson that Mrs. Akins has taught me. I love her so much and she is like my school mom. I can always come to her when I need help. I just want to say thank you for the impact that you have made in my life. You are such a light and a blessing in my life.

Hello my name is Hannah Favors. I am a high school senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I currently play for my high school golf team. Being on my high school golf has shaped me into the person that I am today. I been swinging and hitting balls for 5 years now. I started in middle school and then I took off my Freshman year of high school and then got back into playing golf my Sophomore year of high school. Being on the golf team has shaped my future goals because it has helped me network with people that have very similar interest to me and like to do the same things that I like to do. This has helped shape my career goals because it has taught me to go for things and never give up on things no matter how hard things get or the cost of the trial. Being a student athlete in general has helped me to shape my career goals by the lessons of hard-work, dedication, perservance, practice, and self discipline. These lessons are important to me because it has shaped me into the person that I am today. My future career goals is to one day be the broiler production manger for Tyson foods or work for the USDA as a food inspector or grader. I have many different intreats outside of golf. I also am in the marching and concert bands for my school. I love music and play a musical instrument. I also love animals. I am currently part of my school's FFA chapter. I show chickens, rabbits, and I have even done a market goat. I also have done Ag Communications, Poultry Judging, and Senior Quiz. I also love to dance. My all time favorite thing that I love to do is go to church and learn about God and what he has done in my life and how scripture relates to my life. I also love to learn about new and exciting things that people may not interesting or useful. I also love chickens. For some reason I am obsessed with chickens. Being on my golf team for a certain amount of years it has caused me to step up into leadership roles that I would not have expected at all. This year I am the golf captain for Varsity and JV. Being a golf captain means that I have to set the example of how things should look and how do we want to create the environment on the team. Since I am a captain we have occasional meetings with all the sport captains to plan things for the school. This has helped me with my career goals because it helps me to understand what it is like to work with different head honchos when it comes to the business world one day escipally since I want to be in magament. Golf has also taught me the skill of networking. Like they say you never know what kind of deals are made at the golf course. I have learned that saying is very true. You never know who you are going to run into at the course. This also has prepared me for my career path because with my career you never know who is ready to snatch you up since nobody wants to work with chickens. This also helps me with my career because I will be working with lots of different people and companies.

Long days, multiple rehearsals, Friday Night Lights, Halftime. The sound of the band at the games, the pressure during marching season, and the preparation during concert season. Reading music sheets, preparing for gigs, and having to learn a new instruments. Directors yelling " One more time" and it was not the last time. You always being treated like the underdog an everyone telling you that you are never good enough. That has been my life for the last 4 years of high school band. Music has played an important role in my life espically through high school. Music through high school has taught me so many life lessons that I can take on through the real world. For example, I learned the lessons about time, dedication, hard work and practice, and commitment. These are lessons that will help me through the real world. Music has affected my life by teaching me the lessons that I need to continue through life in the real world. If it wasn't for music I would probably never gone through the challenges that have helped me to develop my character. All through my years in music I have my ability to improve on my musical skills. Music has brought character development to me by the blood, sweat, and tears that I have put into it the last 4 years of high school. The directors telling me that I would never be good enough has pushed me to improve on my skills as a young musician. Music is also the way that I express myself as a person. Another life lesson that I have taken away from music is the lesson about time management. Without the self discipline and time management then you cannot be successful when it comes to playing an instrument. This has taught me that you have to balance time for the things that really matter. I also have learned the lesson of what it means to be committed to something for many years. I have been in band and music classes for 7 years. It has taken a lot of blood, sweat, and tears. Commitment and dedication are in the same category of lessons that I have learned in order to be committed I have to be dedicated to the thing that I love. My story on how I got into music and the instrument that I play to this current day is very funny. When I was in the 5th grade we did the elective rotations every six weeks. When it came to the end of the year and filling out our class schedules for the next years I decided that I wanted to band. My family has a history of doing band through middle school and high school. When deciding what instrument class that we would be put in. My instrument that I play to this current day is the Oboe. When we where doing the instrument tests we tried all the mouth pieces of each instruments and scored extremely low on all the other ones. Then they said we haven't tried the double reeds and I scored a perfect 10/10 on Oboe and Basson. They told me that this is not normal. That is how I ended up in band playing Oboe. Being in music I have created many memories with may friends, directors, and family. Band has given me a place to call home away from home. Without music I don't know where I would be today or the life lessons that I would have learned if I didn't go through those trials and tribulations that come.

My favorite book to film adaptation that is special to me is the Harry Potter Series. This is my favorite book-to-film adaptation because I love the Harry Potter series. The world building that J.K. Rowling had created was amazing and how she portrayed each character. The way that J.K Rowling writes about Harry's life is very well written. When you look at the Harry Potter movies it gives a very demonstrated of how the Dursley treated Harry. The movies gives us a great representation of the big major chapters that are within each book throughout the series. The Harry Potter series has bridged the gap between the reading and viewing experiences for me because it shows a real life version of each character and how they act. It also gave me a whole different but similar perspective on the way that I see each character and the setting. The cast that they had used for the Harry Potter represented each character very well. For example you take the Dursley family. In the books the Dursley's treated Harry Potter as a nobody, worthless, useless child. When they started getting Harry's acceptance letters for Hogwarts the way they responded was not happy and tried everything they could to stop the letters from coming in. In the movie the actors and actress did a very well portrayal of the Dursley family from every facial feature that was describe in the book. In the book Mr. Dursley is described as a big beefy man, with hardly any neck, and a big mustache. In the book he was very mean and cruel. This is my favorite book-to-film adaptation to me because the scenes that are in the movies are very similar to the ones in the books. For example when you look at the glass scene when Harry and them were at the zoo for Dudley's birthday. That was located in chapter 2 called the vanishing glass. This part of the Sorcerer's Stone in the movie made that scene that from the movie very realistic and it made it come to life. My favorite movie character representation is Hermonie Granger. In the movie she is the most well developed character besides professor Snape and Dumbledore. Books and reading has opened many doors and worlds that I never knew had existed. Reading brings creativity to the mind and the imagination. When you read and explore new worlds you can see anything. When a book becomes a movie it is cool to see how much the movie matches the book. Sometimes the movies can become a visual representation what it can look like according to one person writing and how different portray the setting in the world building that the author has created. In my honest opinion when a movie film comes out based off a book then the book is usually better than the movie. I am also a big reader so that is where I'm going. The Harry Potter Series was the first book movie series that I have watched and read. It was one of my favorite reads and the adventure was so fun to go. Still to this day I am big Harry Potter Fan. This movie series had given me a whole new perspective of how you see movie-book adaptations. When the book becomes a movie it gives you a whole new version of how you picture the world in your mind. Sometimes your mind can picture exactly what the movie portrays. You never know the adventure that you will go on through the world of reading and movies.
Kristie's Kids - Loving Arms Around Those Impacted By Cancer Scholarship
Hello my name is Hannah Favors. I am a senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I am very athletic and very easy going. I love being in the outdoors and playing with my animals. My interests that I have is playing golf, dancing, FFA and animals, reading, and my relationship with the Lord. I also enjoy playing my musical instrument which is an Oboe. I also love to serve in my local church as a church musician and a Sunday school student assitiaint teacher. I love to help other, and to serve the others in my community. I have not had cancer personally but cancer has impacted my life in a very hard and sad way but it had also brought good things. Cancer has impacted me through the loss of my closest friend my grandma. Cancer has impacted my way in a negative way. The way that it had impacted my life is through the loss of my grandma. In 2021 my grandma had finally passed away from Kidney Cancer. In 2018 she had surgery in 1 kidney that had kidney cancer. She had survive 2 big surgeries from kidney cancer. In 2020 she had her second surgery in her other kidney. She had also survived that surgery. In 2021 she had finally passed when they had found other spots in her kidney's and she said no more surgery. We respected her wishes and she passed away in the hospital. It was a very hard time for me when she passed and I am still currently getting over her death. She was my best friend and she helped my mother raise me until my mom met my stepdad. In a way it also has impacted our family positively too. Her leaving has opened doors that I never knew existed. The biggest that I know is that she is with the good Lord in heaven and that she is watching over me. It has been a rough 5 years since she has died but I have learned to over that grief and keep going. She would want me to move on. It has impacted me in a positive way because her death opened up a door to something that I want to do for the rest of my life which is agriculture. It had led me to getting my own rabbits and my backyard chickens. My dreams for attending college is to get my Poultry Science Degree. With this degree I hope to work for Tyson Foods as broiler production manger or as a UDSA food inspector and grader. By going to college I hope to make an positive impact within our food industry. I want to be the one that makes a change within the poultry industry. I also want to play in the college band where ever I go. With the challenges of cancer I may not know what it feels like to be the person that has the cancer and going through the treatments but as a family I am just as much impacted as they are. It breaks my heart to see them go through. My grandma was one of the most strongest woman that I have ever knew. Even though she had cancer she never gave up and she had put up a fight even when it had started getting close to her time to go. She taught me many lessons. She was also a great woman of faith. She open many doors for me that I never knew exist. She taught me what it looked like to live a Christ like life.

Hello! My name is Hannah Favors. I am a high school senior at Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas. I am involved in my school marching and concert bands. I am also part of the Mansfield FFA Chapter and the Mansfield FFA Rabbit and Poultry Show Teams. I also compete in Poultry Judging and Senior Quiz. I am involved in the school golf team and studio dance. The way that I serve in my community is that I am very involved in my local church. In my church I serve my time as a church musician and use my musical talent and time to help with worship. I also vounlteer in church as a student teacher in children's ministry. When our church has had many festivaubles I will bring up my animals and talk to the children about the animals. Being part of the different organizations at school I will sometimes go to the feeders school and promote our program to the kids and show them what Timberview is like. I also donate clothing items and food to different drives. But the biggest thing that when it comes to serving in the community is giving up my time to help the others that are in need. The financial that I need to have to even go to a higher education is a lot of money. Even though I may have some scholarships that are on hand the cost to go to school is still pretty costly. I need at least a couple thousand more dollars. I help keep children and youth safe in my community and online from in person-bullying and cyberbullying is by telling them to pick their friends wisely. This is important because you never know how the people are going to turn on you and then you never have hidden agendas against you. I also tell them to be careful what you post on social media. I say this because you may have a little comment but you don't know how this affects that person. Afterwards it can put a target on you from that person that you had written a comment about . I also give them advice about not sharing too much information about yourself because again you never know how that person is going to use that against you. This generation I believe is extremely important that they know the safety measures today. This generation is full of so many different distractions and what ever else. You never know who is praying on your downfall. You have to be extremely careful esicpally with all the technology that we have today.

What is community service? Have you had a time where you involved in the community. I find when I give back to the community that it is so rewarding. The ways that I have helped the members of my community is by doing little jobs for them here and there. I have also done a lot of community service within my local church and voutneering up there. To me community service is a lending a hand when they need it. It also means to sacrifice my time for someone else. I have done many things to serve within my community. I can help the members of my community by providing them with assistance when they need help with something such as mowing the lawn, giving them fresh eggs when they needed it, someone to watch their kids, etc. There have been multiple times that I have done community service for a bunch of people in my community. The way that I serve in my community is by helping my elderly neighbors with things that they need done around their house. I mow their lawn weekly and if they need help moving eqiupment or building things around their house. The older gentleman likes to do things and build and work on things but he has to take it easy because he has shoulder problems and he can easily hurt himself. I also have volunteered in my church's children's ministry and help teach little kids. There I would help the teachers with what they needed. I also would take the kids to the bathroom and get water. The lessons that I have learned from serving in my community is that everything is not always about me and not what I want. Community service taught me how to be humble and how to work with others. My favorite thing about serving in the community is the relationship that I build with the people that I meet from the event. I also love seeing their faces when they can't find anyone to help and they come to me for help. Serving others has taught me about sacficie and sacficing yourself for others. It is priceless to see their faces when they have someone to help them with their tasks. Some other ways that I can serve the people in my community is by voultuneering my time at local animal shelters, food banks, church, or other places that need helpers. I can also help my community by donating to different drives and donating items to the places that need items. People can give back to their community by many different things such as drives, serving, or even starting their organization. For anyone that has not done community service I think that they should. It is a humbling experience for everyone. You never know how you are going to impact a person's life. People are always watching you. Being a community means that you are there for each other when you need it. It involves sacfices and making choices. It is your choice to serve in your community. Serving you take life lessons home that will carry you throughout your whole life.
    Holli Safley Memorial Music Scholarship
Hello my name is Hannah Favors and I am a Senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I am in my high school marching and concerts bands. The instrument that I play is the Oboe. I have been playing Oboe for 7 years now. As I have gotten deeper into these last years of high school band has become my life and it is my ticket to school. I have gotten band leadership awards in band, 1st and 2nd Division Solos, 1st and 2nd division small enemsbles. I started my 6th grade year in intermediate school and I came home and said that I wanted to be in band in middle school. I started learning the basics and then when my 7th grade came around it was also my foundational years and then in March 2020-2021 I had to do band online. Music has shaped me into the person that I am today because it has helped me to express myself and help me to connect with others through the love of music. Music has also taught me very valuable life lessons that I can use to apply in my life. The lessons that I have learned and taken away from music is practice, hard work and patience. I am not going to be a music performance major but I am looking at a bachalor's of Arts and Music. I want to possibly pursue this degree in music for the love and and passion that I have for music. I want to be able to use my talents to help bring honor and glory to his name. I use my musical talent to worship my Lord and Saviour. An idea that I have to use my music degree is to possibly be an Oboe private lessons teacher and help kids to learn the Oboe. Oboe is a hard instrument. I also hope to teach the next generation of future Oboe players and pass down my knowledge. Oboe is a great instrument for college and people are always in demand for Oboe and you never know the doors that can open up through music. Music is such an amazing way to express oneself. You never know the doors that open when you show and listen to music. Music is a world of its own. Sky's the limit in the world of music. Music also teaches us very valuable lessons that we then can take into the real world.
Stephen "Mike" Flinders Agriculture and Animal Care Scholarship
Hi my name is Hannah Favors. I am a Senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I am part of the Mansfield FFA Chapter. I am part of my chapter's poultry, rabbit show teams. I have also did one year of showing market goat. I also have competed on the Senior Quiz Team and I have done Ag Communications and Poultry Judging. I got into Ag my Spring Semester of my Sophomore year of high school. It all started when my mommy wanted to get a pet giant rabbit called a flemish giant. That when I really got into Ag. Before we just had small pet rabbits that I took care of and then we got into the backyard chickens. I never knew that animals was hidden passion that I had discovered. When I got that big flemish giant rabbit, that became my big baby and even though it was suppose to be my mom's rabbit and well she hated my mom with a passion. Once I got the rabbit she taught the importance of time management, taking care and tending to animals. When I had gotten more chickens to my flock I care and tend to the flock. When my babies have injuries I am right on it. I take my babies and go nurse them to make sure that they are okay. There been times where I have had to jump the fence to go and rescue my chickens from our neighbors yard. When my chickens are egg bound I put them in warm and then stick my finger in the butt to help them recover. Usally after treating my babies for egg bound they go back to laying eggs. I want my babies to have the best life before being sent to processed. The career field that I am looking into going is Poultry Science. I want to work for Tyson's Food as a Broiler Production Manager or work for the USDA as a food inspector and grader for poultry. My goals within this field is to help make an positive impact in the Poultry Industries. I want to help with creating better and more humane processes for poultry production. I want to also create more heartier and organic ( all natural ) meat and eggs for human consumption with absolutely no growth hormones or additives that affect the taste and the quality of the meat. I also want to make changes with how the poultry industries deal with their poultry houses and change the way that the treat their chickens. I want the chickens to have the best life possible so that we can have the best quality of product. I also eventually want to be my own poultry producer and provide the best quality of backyard chickens, fancy poultry, eggs, meat, and lastly show birds. Through this I want to show people the love of Jesus Christ through my care taking of my animals and how I provide and treat my animals. I know this may sound crazy but I am not raised in the country or in a rural town. I have backyard chickens in a suburb neighborhood. I have only been in FFA for 2 years but it has become a part of me. When I get home I am usually with my chickens and watching them play and free range. All I want is for my babies to have the best life that they can.

I thank you so much for the veteran's today. They are the reasons that we have these freedom today in this country and I am so proud to be an American. An important Veteran that has impacted my life would be my Uncle Adam or as we call him Uncle Dutt. My Uncle Dutt have served in the military for about 17 years and he retired from the US Navy. My Uncle Dutt is a good man and a hard working man too. He had graduated from the US Naval Academy. He has impacted my life because after he had retired from the Navy he spent a couple of months with us. He taught me about self discipline and discipling my self. He also pushed me to do better and even though he was hard he did it out of love because he wanted to see me be successful in my life. If it wasn't for him I would not be where I am today. I have been playing golf for about 5 years I started in Middle School and then my Freshman year of high school I took the year off before going back to playing golf. Golf is a fun hobby for me that I can use to sit back and relax from the world around me. Unfortunately, I will not be playing golf in college but I will being doing it more as a hobby and for fun. My dream is to go to the University of Arkansas and Major Poultry Science. I want to help make an impact in the poultry industry. I want to work for Tysons Foods as a Broiler Production Management or I want to work for the USDA as a food inspector or grader. After working for cooperate for a while I want to start my own poultry farm and raise all types of poultry and sell poultry related products. If I am awarded this scholarship I would promote the veteran community by voultuneering my time to them. Once I get really good at what I do with chickens and poultry related products. I would love to provide the Veteran's in a home fresh farm eggs and fresh chicken. I also would support the Veteran's by writing thank you letters and being kind to the Veteran's. This foundational scholarship would help me with my journey because it will some finical aid that I need in order to go to school. Thank you for this amazing opportunity. This scholarship will also help me to get to where I can make an positive impact in the Poultry Industry. Having Veteran's in my life has shaped me into the person that I am today. They help me to appreciate the freedoms that I have today. Without our amazing Veteran's we would not be where we are today. I love our amazing Veteran's and the service and sacrifice that they have made for this country. Veteran's play a role in my life. At least almost all the important and influential men that are in my life have served for this country.
Raise Me Up to DO GOOD Scholarship
I have been raised by both a single mother and in a blended family. Until my mom met my stepdad it was just me and mom. My biological dad had walked out of my life when I was about 15 months old. For many years I was raised by mother and my grandmother. From a very young age I was taking care of my grandparents and being raised like an adult. For many years before my mom met my stepdad she always taught me about faith and having faith no matter the situation and to work hard. Once my mom had met my stepdad life became more different but a good kind of different. My dad taught me things that I want in a man one day and he also instills me with the value of working hard. My family has inspired me to go for the goals and the dreams that I have. My momma told me that if you want anything in this world then it requires you to work hard. No matter the trial and challenge that I go through to keep pushing no matter how hard. My family are my biggest fans and supporters. As I get ready for this next chapter in my they want to see me succeed and make an impact in the changing and growing world. The future that I see for me is going into the Agriculture world. I am very good with chickens and animals. I am also very good with music. The career that I want to enter to is Broiler Production management for Tyson Foods or I want to be a USDA food inspector and grader for poultry. I want to use my talent of knowledge with chickens to help create natural and organic chicken. I want to bring more natural food and less GMOs and Growth Hormones in the food that we eat. Since the food that we eat is so filled with so much unhealthy stuff that effects our general health. I also want to create more humane processes when it come to slaughterhouses and production houses. I want the people to have the best quality of food and to know what is being put into their foods. I also use my gift of music to worship my Lord and savior. Music is a way that I communicate and express myself. I mostly use my gift of music for serving the Lord and playing for church. Music is my voice. My family has been with me through hell, brimstones, and fire. They have gotten to walk alongside me for many years and I am so thankful to have them. Being raised by a single mother for many years taught me many lessons about how to live on my own and be independent and taking care of other. When my stepdad came into my life he showed me what real true love from a man looks like and what a provider and protector looks like. If it wasn't for my stepdad, I would not be Ag Classes now and showing my chickens and rabbits. My dad is the reason I am in Ag and want to make a difference in the Agriculture Community.

Ever since I was a little girl I have always dreamed of making a positive change and impact in the world. My career choice that I want to have when I grow is either to be a Tyson Food Broiler Production Manger or work for the USDA as a food inspector/grader. Through my career I hope to impact the Poultry Industry in many different ways. First, I want to help us get birds that are able to survive this new strand of bird and find the right genetics that will help that bird survive so that way we can breed these birds and get our eggs and meat. I also want to feed the chicken healthier and more natural feeds and products instead of all of these processed feeds and adding all these extra growth hormones. I want to sell and produce poultry related products that are organic and all natural that contains no GMOS or Growth Hormones at all. I want to change things that are fed into our food supply. Eventually I want to be my own poultry producer. I want to raise my own birds to sell, egg laying hens, egg, broilers and I want to have my own little processing plant. One day I will go into the mission field with agriculture and share the word of Christ through agriculture. I want to be able to help bring the cost of poultry related products down so that it can be more affordable for those around us. My biggest dream is to one day help with food insercrutiy but also to help with the production and processing of our foods. Let's take back our food industry by changing the animals diets to the all natural way. I one day hope to inspire others to learn about the food chain and food supply and how we can overcome those challenges within the Poultry world.
    Samuel D. Hartley Memorial Scholarship
I am so very grateful for this opportunity to fill out this scholarship. My dream is to go to a 4-year University where I can study Poultry Science. This scholarship will help me with the finical aid that I will need to possibly go to college but also helps me to understand me as a human being and my values. Being involved in a sport that so little people play has built and shaped my character in so many different ways that have helped prepare me for the next chapter in my life. I believe that I should be considered for the Samuel D. Hartley Memorial Scholarship because I am a hard worker and no matter the challenge or the circumstance that I am in I work hard to achieve those dreams and goals. For example when it comes to golf, I have been playing golf for 5 years and took 1 year off starting in my freshman year of high school, I have learned the importance of what hard work means. For example, when you are playing in a tournament your score determines how much practice that you have put in the last couple of weeks . I am very deeply honored to be given this opportunity of learning about golf and all the different life lessons you can gain from it. Without the hard work that I have put in each and everyday that I am at practice, it shows in my scores. I know that I may not have the best scores but every tournament that I go to I look for improvement. Being able to show improvement also helps with golf. When I started to prove to my coach that my scores were lower than she started testing my skills and helping me focus on my skill level and improving on the skills that I been struggling with. The life lessons that I have learned through the years from my coach have been amazing. Golf has been a character builder for me. Golf has open my eyes to a whole new world and the way that I see things from perspective. With that being said golf is a mental game and everything that affects you mentally then it impacts how you do and what gets done within that tasks. When joining golf it first became a competitive thing for me. I have played in all of my school tournaments. Joining the team my Sophomore year of high school was a life changer and I made the friends and the lessons there. Now that I am a Senior golf is still a part of me. Now it is a hobby. After all being said and done golf has provided me with the life skills that I need in order to succeed in the world ahead of me. Golf has open many doors with new and exciting opportunities. Golf has taught me about hard work and practice. It has also taught me about patience and the mental toughness in my mind. It has also help with my mental game and changing my mindset no matter what challenges or adversity that I face within the game. The mental game is something that I can also use in my everyday life as well. With these skills that I have learned from golf I hope that they will continue to grow and shape me into the person that I will become one day. Again I want to say thank you for this amazing opportunity to apply for this scholarship. I hope to continue to grow, learn , and play golf.

Community service has impacted my life in so many different ways. My favorite thing that I have learned from serving in the community is learning and building relationships with the different people that I have met. I has helped me to see what being selfless is like. My future dreams and goals is to go into poultry science and learn about the poultry industry. Tom LoCasale Developing Character Through Golf Scholarship
Through playing golf I have learned many life lessons through golf. Golf has helped shaped my character into the person that I am today. Golf prepared me for the trials and tribulations of life that I am currently facing and that I will face later down in my life. The biggest lessons that I have learned from golf is the importance of practice, mental game, and last of all perservance. Through these lessons that I had learned it has not only helped me to become a better golfer but also a better person. If I didn't have golf it would not shape me to where I am at today. One of the major lessons that I have learned from golf is the importance of practice. Golf has taught me this lesson by showing me how practice improves your game. This lesson was taught to me through which also helped me with band. If you work hard and practice then it will pay eventually off. I noticed the last of couple of years when I practiced and worked hard that my scores and shots are starting to get lower. When you practice you improve but it doesn't happen over night. That has been one of the biggest lessons that I have learned by playing golf. Another major lesson that I have learned is how to handle my mental game. Golf has taught me a lot about my mental game. This sport has challenged me in so many ways when it comes to my mental game and how to handle my mental mindset. This taught me how to control my mental toughness. This has challenged my mental game because when things got tough I would start to turn to a negative mindset and when that happened the rest of game would not be there or the greatest. Over time I have learned to fight mentally those negative thoughts that I have when things started to get tough. I also learned that the better you are in your mental mindset it helps you to accomplish more things than being all negative. The last lesson that I have learned from golf is the lesson of preserving. The lesson of perseverance has been taught to me through golf because no matter where you end up on the course and no matter what hole you are on it requires you to keep going. Even if I had a terrible shot I had to keep going no matter what the outcome was. I kept going. This also goes along with the mental toughness to espically when I would end up in some of the toughest spot but I kept pushing and going forward. Through my years of playing golf, I am so glad that I had the opportunity to play this sport. Golf has taught me many important life lessons that has helped shaped me into the person that I am today. Golf teaches the valuable life lessons of mental toughness and perseverance. Thanks to golf I learned many life skills that I can take out into the real world and apply them to my life.
    Valerie Rabb Academic Scholarship
My name is Hannah Favors and I am currently a senior at Mansfield Timberview High School. I am in my school band and I play Oboe. I also am in FFA and show Rabbits, Chickens, and Market Goat. I am also on my poultry judging team. I am also very heavily involved the church and I will be getting my bible diploma this semester. I am also a studio dancer and dance for my local dance company. In school I have a 3.95 GPA. I want to make an impact in the world by showing the love of Christ to others and spreading the Good News. I also want to use Agriculture to help others. My future plans is that I want to go to a 4 year University and major in Poultry Science. With Poultry Science I am going to make a positive impact with this career path because I want to help with the food supply and safety within the Poultry Industry. I also want to bring back all natural and organic food sources that contain no growth hormones and whatever other things that they pump into the animals and the food supply. After working for the corporate level for a little bit then eventually I want to open my own local poultry farm and be my own poultry producer. I want my costumers to have the best quality of meat and farm fresh products that they know what is being put into them. The name for my farm will be called Faith Family Farms. I want to help the people who do not have food and feed the starving. I also want to provide work for the people that need a job. The mission statement that I will have for my business is using the scripture of Genesis 9:3 where it talks about the purpose of the animals. And then eventually I want to go into the mission field and use agriculture to spread the word of God and the love of Christ to others. Over the last couple of years I have faced many different types of adversity over the years. The biggest challenge that I had faced was when I was on drill team and I had gotten bullied because I was the only white girl on the team, the only christian on the team. I even got made fun of because I carry my bible everywhere. I overcame this challenge by finally speaking up about the situation but also praying for those that had hurt me. I have faced many different challenges. The way that I have overcame those adversities is through my faith alone.
PrimePutt Putting Mat Scholarship for Women Golfers
Good morning my name is Hannah Favors. I have been playing golf for a couple of years now. I am a high school Senior this year. I started playing golf in middle school. Going into my Freshman year of high school I took that first year off. Although when I got into high school I was on Drill Team and Band so that took up a lot of my time. Although my coach never gave up on me and was recruiting me. Then my Sophomore year of high school I quit drill team and went back to playing golf. Playing golf my favorite thing would be walking the course and admiring nature and looking at the beauty of nature and the peacefulness of the course. Playing golf gives me a chance to sit still and be quiet and just to listen and sometimes I just need to sit still and be quiet. I also love playing golf because of my community. My teammates and my coach have been the biggest blessing that I have received. I love golf is because of my coach. She keeps pushing me to not only be a better student but also to be a better person . Golf has also taught me many life skills that I can use throughout my life. When playing golf my favorite holes to play are Par 3s. I love the par 3s. Another reason I enjoy playing golf is watching my growth each time that I play at a tournament. Some challenges that I have faced as a female golfer is the fact that when we are playing at tournaments and sometimes it gets lonely because I am the only girl that represents are team and sometimes I just the company of another girl from my own team. I have overcome this challenge by making new friends and meeting new people. It can be very uncomfortable at times but in the end it can be worth it. Another challenge that I have faced being a female golfer is the comparison and jealously of other females golfers. I have overcome this challenge by getting to know the people that I play with but also listening to their stories and how they came to be. Another challenge that I have faced as a female golfer is the fact of strength and sometimes it can be very discouraging because depending not he hole that I play I realize that I am not as strong as a man. I have overcome this challenge by accepting the fact that I will not be as strong as a man and worked on building my strength. Golf can be a challenge at times but golf taught me many life lessons. The biggest life lesson that golf has taught me over the years is overcoming the mental game. Golf has tested me in my mental game and has helped me overcome those mental barriers that I have put on myself. I also noticed that your golf game is all about how you do mentally and emotionally. If your mental game is not in check then your game is not good and you do not do well. The biggest challenge that I have overcome as a female golfer is the mental aspect of the game. I overcame this challenge by changing my mindset and instead of always thinking about the negative or second guessing myself. I decided to go with the flow with everything and even if I mess up that it is going to be okay and just to keep going.

I most memorable musical experience that I have performed in was in April 2023 and I was playing the Oboe for a church orecstrah performance. Although I have so many fun memories that involve music and playing. This scholarship would benefit my musicianship because in college I plan on playing and auditioning for the college wind enesmbles to play. This scholarship will also help to me invest within my education in music and to grow as musician. In 8th grade I had revecived Band Leadership award for outstanding character and leadership with in the band program. 6th, and 7th grade I had gotten most outstanding woodwind player. This past May 2024, I have recivied the most outstanding student in Symphonic Band. Band and music has played a big role in my life. It has taught me about all kinds of life skills that I can take on in the real world. This scholarship would also help benefit my musicianship because I plan on buying my personal instrument which is an Oboe. This would also help me to buy materials and supplies that I need for my instruement. For example, I want to invest in reed making equipment to start learning how to make my own reeds and learn about the Oboe perfessional level of performance. This year I had auditioned for the national FFA Band in July although I did not make the band but I auditioned for it. I have been playing the Oboe since I was in the 6th grade. This past July of 2024, I got the opportunity to go to Oklahoma State Universtiy Band Camp and work with the Oboe perfessor for a whole week. This opportunity helped me to see what college band is like and the rewards that come when sticking with band. I also think that I would be a good candiate for this scholarship because I understand what dedication, hard-work, and practice means. Even though I have had my struggles with band I never gave up and preserve over the time and how it has made me stronger. I also have had the wonder opportunity to play for my church worship team and have multiple solos in choir specials and even in just regular worship music. Breathing, Inhaler, and Shots. Did you take allergies can caused induced asthma. I have allergy induced asthma. This last year my allergies were so bad during the fall semester of my junior year. During the really challenging time dealing with my allergies and it made my life a lot harder to do things. It had impacted my breathing which affect my physical strength but it also affected my musical ability. I have never been digonised with asthma but I have been digoanised with seasonal allergies. Things had changed this past last year. In December I had got digonaised with allergy induced asthma. The asthma impacted my goals for music during marching season it made me weak and it made it hard for me to catch my breath. I had struggled with breathing issues all season long and at marching competitions I would get so out of breathe that I would almost look like I was ready to past out. If I am going to be honest with I felt like I was going to go down on the marching field. The allergies and asthma had also made it so hard to breathe and play my instrument that it made me lose two solo parts because I couldn't play them because I couldn't breathe. My goals for my future is to one day be the Chicken Queen in the agriculture industry. I want to have my own chicken farm and live on a ranch one day. I want to study Poultry Science at either Mississippi State University or University of Arkansas. I also want to learn about the poultry industry and work as a USDA food inspector or something within the poultry industry. I want to do college band and want to do colligate FFA and Colligate showing. I also want to one start open up my own business and be my own producer of agricultural products and then eventually turn it into a ministry where people can learn about how agriculture relates to the Bible. My current goals for my future right at this moment is to pass Pre-Cal and all my other classes. Also to graduate high school and get my high school diploma. GUTS- Olivia Rodrigo Fan Scholarship
The album GUTS by Olivia Rodrigo resonates with my own teenage experience because these are all emotions that I have faced everything from comparison and dealing with break ups, to random emotions. In the song teenage dream she talks about sorry I couldn't be your teenage dream because in the movies they show these teenage romances and how they end up. When she says the lyrics " Sorry I couldn't always be your teenage dream" shows how she has changed over time and that things don't always work out as some people change. In the song Teenage Dream she also says that things get better as they grow which leads to the idea of maturity. I am now a Senior in high school and yes when I was a freshman I had this teenage dream that I was going to be on the dance and captain by my senior year of high school and the guy that I was with at the time was going to be with me all through high school and we were going to be high school sweethearts. I woke up to reality about the guy I was with told me that he didn't want to date me. The point is I grew and matured over time and how this separation had helped me grow personally. In the song Pretty isn't Pretty, the very first verse that starts off the song is " Bought a whole bunch of makeup, tryna cover my face." This shows that teenage girls struggle with the insecurity of being pretty and how do they cover it? By buying makeup and covering those facial insercuires. The next line she describes in the song says " I started to skip lunch, stopped eating cake on birthdays." which shows us that she has turned to eating disorder. I never had a eating disorder but I have had friends that had eating disorders. Later in the song she talks about how every time she looks in the mirror she always sees something wrong. I as a teenage girl struggle with this. I struggle with this because society tells you one thing or the people you hang around can have a major influence in your life. I still sometimes struggle with this but thing the thing that reminds me that I am pretty enough is the fact that God still loves me no matter what. I really think that this song resonates to me because sometimes as a girl I never feel that I am enough. The GUTS Album expresses so many human emotions that are only normal. The one that I think was a really important topic was Pretty isn't pretty. I say this because in today's society they tell us one thing and then it feels our heads and then it leads to jealously and comparison and all of the dangerous disorders that can come from it.

Did you know that books help create and shape you into the person that you will become one day.I learned so many different things from books that I have read. The lessons that I learned from books is " Be careful who you trust. Majority of the books that I read are fantasy. I also read a lot of mystery. Another important life lesson that I learn is that the story is not over yet. Expect the unexpected. Books opens up my mind to whole new ideas and a world that I can see and visit. The lesson of Be Careful who trust is a big lesson that I have learned through books because almost every story has that duo that are really close friends and then the close friend betrays the other friend. This has shaped my goals in the real world because I have learned that not every has your best intrest in their mind. Some people are going to want you to fall or they want to see you fail and not get back up again. This lesson also taught me about discernment because not every one says who they are and are true about themselves. This lesson helps teach me to pick and chose wisely of who is in my inner circle. Another really important lesson that I learned through reading books is to expect the unexpected. I say this because if you look at some of the main characters in the books they think and see themselves as worthless and useless people. Later down the road that character becomes the next king or queen, the person who fought for change, and a big influential leader in the government, etc. This lesson has shaped me because it has taught me that anything is possible and that sometimes the journey that we take is unexpected and we have our own plans but destiny has their own way of dealing with our lives. My biggest take away from this lesson is always be ready because you never know what is going to happen. The last lesson that I am going to talk about is that it is not the end of the story. This lesson stood out to because at the end of the day a door may close, but it is not the end. The story just doesn't stop after the door closes but it keep on going and opens the door to a new chapter.
    Billie Eilish Fan Scholarship
My top 3 Billie Eilish songs are See Me In Crown, Lovely, Bury a Friend. These are my favorite songs from her because I love to come up with choreography to these songs. These songs resonate with me so deeply because these songs were the first 3 songs that I ever listened to and I thought that she is cool and before she came really popular and her music kind of went downhill after. These songs also resonate with me so deeply because they were in the soundtracks for Legacies. The thing about Billie Eilish music is that it opens the eyes to the people of today's society. In the song You Should Me In A Crown was inspired by Sherlock Holmes and it was based off the villain named Jim Mortain who steals the crown jewel. This song resonates with me because people tend to all the underestimate my ability to do anything and when I achieve something and those haters look at me. I get to strut my stuff like you should me in the crown. The song Lovely resonates with me because it express and discusses a heavy topic about depression. I think that the topic of depression is important to express and talk because many teenagers in my age category find it hard to deal with aniexty and dealing with depression. This song also deals with the feeling of hopelessness and being stuck in a toxic relationship which is another big heavy soicetial topic that needs to be addressed today. This song had helped me to realize the issues and the problems that teens in my age category face on a daily basis and to be more understanding with those that are struggling with these issues. The last song that I resonate with is Bury a Friend. This song is about the monster's that is under her own bed but the monster represents herself and that monster is her own worst enemy. This song puts into perspective that we have to renew ourselves each and everyday and that we are the worst critics of ourselves. Not any other person but us. This song puts into perspective about the internal struggles that we go through each and everyday.

To me success looks like how do you live your live but also the work and balance that you put into your daily task. The world today has their own idea of success and that could mean anything from the biggest house or living in the fanciest neighborhood, etc. To me success looks like following God's will and plan that he has for you no matter the situation or task that is thrown at us. As someone once told me it is 1% better everyday. To me success is following Christ and being obedient and listening to the Holy Spirit's guidance. Following Christ will help me achieve where I'm going because at the end of the day I have to trust his plan for me and he will provide for me and he will lead me to where he wants me to be and he provide a way for me to get there. Living for the Lord to me is success and I say this because at the end of the day no matter where you he will always be with you no matter where you go. Another thing that look like success is a farm. I saw this because a farm you will go through many different trials and tribulations and there are moments of discouragement, tears, failures, and losses. This shows us perseverance and when those farmers go through those moments it helps us understand the success. Without the failures and mistakes and the risk taken we would never get to success. Perservance will help me with my success and help achieve it because it shows that I never gave up or lost hope during my darkest moment and watching how I personally grew from that challenge. Success also is about hard work. Without working hard you would never appreciate the things if they were just given to you. This opportunity will help me achieve my success because it will help me to go to college and major in what I'm very passionate about which is chickens. This opportunity will also help me to help my family with cost of schooling to father my education and to teach my family about these life skills. This opportunity will help me to expand my horizons and sky's the limit. At the end of the day success is only what you make out of the resources that you have and are given and how you use those resources. Success is 1% everyday of growth and it takes time, practice, and patience. Keep going and it give it you all. Success does not happen over night. I learned from these last couple of years is that it is not about everyone else journey or natural talent but it is about personal walk or journey. This has brought encouragement to me because it reminds me that it takes time but success will come one day in God's timing. To achieve my success I'm going to work hard, practice more, do my research, study and focus on my priorities to reach my success.
    Veterans & Family Scholarship
Majority of the men in my family served in the military at one point of their lives. Majority of the men had served in the Navy and I had the occasionally Army or AirForce. My great grandpa Huey P. Kleinpeter served in the Navy during World War I as a solider. My biological father served in the Navy as well he was on the Submarines and did work on the submarines. My Uncle Micah had also served in the Navy but he was intelligence and one time he wrote a letter to the president in the early 2000s. My Uncle was a goof ball. My other Uncle, Adam was in the Navy too. He served a total of about 17 years in the Navy and was an officer. My Uncle told me that he was taught about growing and responsibility. He had a good time but at the same time he saw a lot of other things that we don't see and told me that I should be thankful for what I have now because you never know what can happen. My educational goals is to go to college and I also want to play in college band. I want to study Agriculture but I want to be real speacialize in Poultry Science. I see myself after graduation going to college and working in some industry of Agriculture and possibly being the Poultry Queen in the United States. Other educational goals that I have is to get my master's and possibly my doctorate in Poultry Science if it goes that far. I also want to learn as much as I can about the Chicken Industry and find newer and safer ways for the animals but also for human consumption. I also see myself after graduation later down the road being my own chicken and rabbit meat producer. Along with being a breeder and raising and selling ever part of my animals from the fur/feathers to the live animal to the meat. Another educational goal that I have is maybe take some music or dance electives that is not part of my major for fun and also to help me grow in my musical ability and performance ability. I want to play my Oboe during the concert season and play in the marching band during the season. I want to go for a minor in Ag business or Ag Education if allowed to help me find a job until I can be my own producer one day.
    Billy Downey Memorial Agriculture Scholarship
I believe that agriculture supports the community because it brings food to our table. Without farmers there is no food. I could have a future impact in agriculture by starting my own business. I would help the community by making food prices cheaper for the average American family. The products that I would sell would be fresh organic and GMO free products. In my products there will be all fresh grown or free ranged animals with no steroids, antibiotics, etc. that will be injected into my product. Another way that I could have a future impact in the agriculture world and my community is by starting an agriculture based ministry for the community. In my ministry I would teach the people of the community about where our food comes from and understanding the importance of this valuable resources ( animals ). Did you there are multiple passages of scripture in the Bible that talks about the purpose of the animals and plants. I would also teach the people of the community how to take care of God's creation and when it is their time to go, putting them down in the most humane way possible where they don't have to suffer. I would also take my animal to different events and show my animals to kids. I hope to inspire the people of this country to understand the true purpose of the animals and how to provide and take care of the animals. We are the shepard and we take care of flock. I also believe that agriculture supports the community because in many different ways we bring the community and by bringing the community together we create unity. We support the community because we provide the things in the store like meats, eggs , fresh produce. We also contribute to the food industry and business that require the special meats, eggs or produce. We help support the community because we provide the nessary items that are sold in store. We also help with the economy in a community because we sell our products to whoever and they will give us a certain amount of money and we meet the supply and demand of the people. Without the people in agriculture then we would not have the things and the food that we need. If there are no farms or farmers then there is no food for the people of this country.
