Bio

Hi! My name is Han, and I'm a Junior majoring in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at Illinois Tech. I'm currently the Technical Lead of the R&D Team at Illinois Tech Rocketry, working on developing solid propulsion systems for sounding rockets. My goal is to work on furthering the reach of slow-burned propellant and composite manufacturing to enhance space exploration. Space exploration is and will always be my biggest dream. The mysteries of planetary science and rocketry have always left me in awe. Thus far, I have focused my engineering efforts in the following areas: rocket launch engineering and production; propulsion development, design, and testing; composite material; rocket software and hardware; unmanned aerial vehicle. In the future, I hope to be a design and test engineer specializing in system engineering, structural analysis, as well as avionics, and flight controls. When not working on projects, I spend my free time taking photos, watching documentaries, drawing, baking and playing piano.
