Bio

Hi, I'm Hamza, a sophomore in college and an aspiring future judge. I completed 4 years of high school in 2 years while also completing 37 units of college classes, maintaining a 4.0 GPA in both. I am currently finishing my sophomore year in college where I am earning 3 degrees in economics, mathematics, and interdisciplinary studies and maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I am passionate about volunteering and type 1 diabetes advocacy. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in July of 2021 and immediately hospitalized as I was experiencing a life-threatening complication of T1D called Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Since then, I have managed my disease very successfully, making sure to read and educate myself on all things T1D so that I can continue to live my life to the fullest. I am an awesome big brother to 2 siblings, an avid soccer goalie, pianist, and recently started parasailing, and founder/president of 2 non-profit foundations. My dreams and goals are to complete my undergraduate studies and continue on to Law School.

My father is my everything! For as long as I can remember, we have spent countless car rides discussing economics and how it affects our American politics. I grew to love these subjects and how they impact our lives. This experience helped guide my future career goals. Additionally, I have always admired my father’s ability to make you believe that anything is possible. He lives his life so much passion, a desire to never stop learning, and unmatched service to others. He has been the most prominent figure in my life and my biggest cheerleader.
