Hi! I’m Hali Bell (she/her), a high school senior, writer, debater, and lifelong storyteller from California. I love pink! I’m passionate about the humanities, especially history, philosophy, literature, and the ways stories shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. Whether I’m writing and producing an original play, competing in Lincoln-Douglas debate, or advocating for issues I care about, I’m happiest when I’m creating, questioning, and communicating. In college, I hope to pursue an interdisciplinary education that allows me to explore the recurring patterns within history, philosophy, media, narrative, and culture while continuing to grow as a writer and artist. Beyond college, I hope to build a career centered around writing, storytelling, and the arts, creating work that reaches people far beyond myself. Ultimately, I want to use storytelling to make people feel seen, challenge the way people think, and contribute something meaningful to the world.
