The anime that I can watch over and over again is One Piece, and even though it has over 1100 episodes, I have watched multiple times already. There is no other anime that is at the same level as One Piece because this show has many elements that no other anime has together. One Piece demonstrates real-world issues from history and present day, in the form of entertainment without belittling the real-world issues. Some of the issues that occur include, but are not limited to, slavery, corrupt government, power associated with high economic status, and racism. However, since these topics are incorporated into an enormous world full of adventure and comedy, these issues can sometimes go unnoticed, which is another aspect that takes great skill to write. Of course, One Piece has more the just a real-life aspect to it. There is also an emotional connection with the characters. I personally resonate with Nico Robin because she is always looking for the truth and thinks realistically, while also having a sense of humor and seeing the cute qualities of something that the majority of people would consider ugly. For me, I love learning and growing as a person, and because of the information that I've learned, I am better able to differentiate truth from fiction. And just like Robin, I also find things that the majority consider ugly to be cute. This is because I believe everything has a place in this world and if you learn what that place is, you will find it to be beautiful and all beautiful things are cute.
