I am pursuing a degree in Nursing with the hope of contributing to the field of neurology in research for ALS. My mother, who passed away due to this disease three years ago has instilled my passion for Nursing. I am currently a full-time student at Point Loma Nazarene University, fulfilling my minor in pre-therapeutic psychology. Since my mom's brother's recent passing, I am currently working to make college financially feasible while I study with the hope of continuing higher education. My goal is to make qualitative contributions to the health sciences and work to find a cure for ALS.
